Hi, tiny here with a new account. The e-mail with my old account stopped working with jdorama.com since the server move of jdorama.com, so now I'm back with a new account :)
To start off, some recent pictures of Ryoko. The hi-res originals were shared on jpopsuki. Here are the lo-res versions:

Email issues.....yeah, some users also seemed to have a problem with the new server  . So, there was no other way to fix that?
Anyway, thanks for sharing those magazine scans

Gomen, you know, something got in the way. I think it's called life :hehe:
Anyway, the news is a new deal CM for Ryoko-chan! Check this out, it's some sort of body cleansing tea.

Well, recently I've completed my Ryoko Hirosue Discography. :woot:
Over time I've bought several of her albums and singles from on-line shops such as YesAsia, CDjapan and Amazon Japan. And now I wanted to complete my collection. The shops had some CDs I didn't have, but I quickly found out that not all CDs were available anymore. So after buying the CDs that were available, I decided to take the plunge and order several second hand singles from Amazon Japan marketplace.
The Amazon marketplace is a relatively painless experience. Payment goes through Amazon and shipping fees are determined by Amazon. But there are some things you have to pay attention to. One of them is holding true to the old adagio "you get what you pay for". Don't fall for the 1 yen or 10 yen 'bargains'. They are most likely ex-rentals or in bad condition.
I got four singles and the '98 Winter Gift from second hand sellers for reasable prizes. Every seller I ordered from wrapped the CD(s) in bubble plastic, so no problems with shipping.
Some points about Amazon Japan marketplace.
- it's almost entirely in Japanese. Get your translation tools ready.
- not every seller ships internationly, but those that do are indicated.
- as always with marketplace or ebay like stores, read the feedback, even if it's in Japanese and espacialy the negative feedback.
- some sellers may be able to communicate in English, but most do so in Japanese. Not to worry, most e-mails from the seller were like "order received", and "shipping now" and I didn't need to reply to those e-mails.
The big uncertainty is the state of the second hand CDs. I my case all CDs were without scratches and only the covers had some very little wear. Maybe I got lucky or maybe not buying the cheapest ones did the trick. Overall I'm very happy with the experience.
Offcourse, I'm even more happy with my collection:

Cool! Now that's what I call an avid fan  . The only album that I have is the Ryoko Hirosue Perfect Collection. It's the one I bought because it's the compilation of her greatest hits :) .

Yeah, she may not be the big thing now, but with that beauty (and great acting skills), her popularity wouldn't fade away that easily ;)

I see. Those are her recent ones. Try watching Dekichatta Kekkon (Shotgun Marriage), Summer Snow and Ai Nante Iraneyo, Natsu (no subtitle though  ), her performance in these dramas is better  . And since you also like Kyoko Fukada, you might wanna check out Otousan, both Ryoko and Kyoko is in that drama :D
