OK, no problem, I'm not mad. Everybody take mistakes sometimes.

not sure how many albums she had out...but probably not much, since she is more known as an actress.

If I'm not mistaken I think she made 11 albums ;)

More like 2 'original' albums and a mini album (which is more like a max-single), a live album, a remix album and 2 'best of' albums.
See: http://wiki.theppn.org/Hirosue_Ryoko#Discography

She also has released 7 singles. Her first few singles sold rather well and 'Daisuki!' even reached the number 1 position in the Oricon weekly ranks. That's probably the reason she was invited for the Kouhaku Uta Gassen of 1997 where she performed that song. See the wiki link I posted above for more information like this. I've poured quite some time and effort into that wiki page, might as well promote it.

So that makes it 7 albums. Thanks for the correction :) . By the way, good work on that wiki page :applaud: . I find it more updated than her other wiki pages.

Well actually, like tiny said, she has 7 albums. But still, that's alot. Yeah, nothing recent on her singing career. I think she already planned to stop singing when she released her perfect collection album in 2002

Ryoko 3-pack:

(1) The official Ryoko Hirosue site gives a schedule for the Ryoko Coca Cola Thea posters in train stations across Japan. It's in the news section. See that page for some small pictures, among which a close-up of her face and one of her abs. Doesn't mama Ryoko look good :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:. (Bigger versions requested!)

(2) Ryoko's upcoming drama special "Tokyo Tower ~Okan to Boku to, Tokidoki, Oton~" will be airing on July 29th at 21:00 hours. Official site.

(3) Ryoko will be playing in a movie again! The movie, titled "ƒoƒuƒ‹‚ÖGO!!ƒ^ƒCƒ€ƒ}ƒVƒ“‚̓hƒ‰ƒ€Ž®" (Baburu he GO!! Time Machine wa Drum Shiki) is scheduled to be released in 2007. Not much is known about this movie except that Yasuo Baba will be the director.

More info about the movie: Abe Hiroshi is starring, Hirosue Ryoko and Yakushimaru Hiroko are co-starring. This is the first movie for director Yasuo Baba after a break of seven years since his previous movie "Messengers".

The movie is a love comedy set in the eighties. The feel of the 80's is faithfully recreated with corresponding fashion and hair style. The movie is during the height of the economic bubble. Read more about the "Bubble" on Wikipedia: Japanese asset price bubble.

The movie will start showing in February 2007.

The story (rough translation from the Sanspo article, any errors are entirely mine):
Some day in 2007, A man (Abe) who introduces himself as a government official shows up to the current Mayumi (Hirosue), who thought that she had lost her mother (Yakushimaru) due to a sudden accident. The man, explains that her mother was alive at the time of the economic bubble burst, which he was send to stop using his self made time machine as instructed by the government, but that he can't go back. Mayumi, who did not believe the story at first, begins to think the story might be true and is determined to save her mother. Mayumi time slips to Tokyo at the height of the bubble period, when young people were into Bodicons and DC brands. Though Mayumi wants to rescue her mother, she is perplexed by the fashion and the differences in fashion c.
