To start off, Ryoko graces this week's front cover of Weekly Playboy. Don't be alarmed, Weekly Playboy is much tamer than the monthly version if I'm not mistaken. Anyway here is a picture from inside that magazine.

I haven't found a picture of the front cover so far that has a high enough resolution to be worth posting. We'll have to wait until the weekly round up of magazine front covers by Mainichi for that.

Next, the latest Karada Meguri Tea commercial is now also available from the CM profile page of Ryoko's official site.

On August 26 Ryoko will participate in an event in Tokyo called "The Free Market '06" (or "The Flea Market", it's written the same in Japanese). I have no idea what it is about. Tickets can be purchased here.

Last but not least, for Japanese residents only the official Ryoko Hirosue site sells two "Ryoko's Select Music Boxes" (follow the link to see a picture). The navy blue music box plays the song "Chako no Kaigan Monogatari" by Southern All Stars and the silver music box plays "Kimi ga Suki" by Mr. Children. The songs are selected by Ryoko herself.

It's really too bad that in this age of globalization the good stuff is only sold in Japan. :(

Not wanting to end this post on a sad note, here is the link to a useful site: the Hirosue Ryoko Calendar. A Japanese site that lists TV appearances, drama reruns etc. in a nifty calendar format.

hmmm, what is she thinking about...:headscratch:
i figured that japan pb is much tamer than probably some other gravure idol mags....like sabra.. :hehe:

strange to see her appear so masculine in long vacation.....knowing that guys can now give birth to kids from their a$$es...

So that's where babies come from. :bonk:

It could be her really short hair in her first dramas that made her look tomboy. I must say in later ones, I would have been happy to make her a kid or two. :ashamed:

yeah she looks attractive with a more feminine haircut...the haircut that comes from using a a ramen bowl and a pair of left-handed scissors is less enticing....maybe if she threw on some gyoza earrings i'd change my mind.

on the contrary, your brain cells are well oxygenated....but they might be more so if you got the short ryoko bowl cut.... :nut:

:hehe:

In that case, she should go back to her old haircut. The increase of oxygen to her brain might be enough for her to realize she's living with an idiot.
