I considered studying japanese too (We have something called Wahlfachkorb in Austria where you can add some extra courses from any other study subject to your original subject! (=means I can learn the basics of Japanese, Chinese, korean, maths, German,...everything one can study. *g*) I'm definitely going to take a course next year (It's going to be very difficult *surprise* ^^) :sweat:

law & arashi... one could make use of that kind of hobbies... like, one could sue us for saying we don't like jun's nail polish....OR one could sue someone for liking one of the guys too obsesively :) :bonk:

fybabe - how old are you? i don't think you took the baka test, did you? thank to that test it was possible to see how old we are, baka oneesans spending too much time admiring&listing&getting even more addicted to arashi. and i'm not really proud to be one of the oldest here and not being too sensible:)

I don't know if Jun smokes in real life but I've heard that Sho, Nino, and Aiba smoke (do you like how I mixed first and last names in there, lol). When I found out, I kept wondering how do they keep singing and have such stamina since smoking does so much to decrease those. But at least that explains Nino's watery eyes.

- 47% of males and 10% of females smoke (though females smokers are on the rise)
- there is 1 cigarette vending machine for every 27 people in Japan
- the government owns HALF of the tobacco companies
Now how do you promote anti-smoking behaviour when the government owns half of the industry? Anyways, sorry for the digression. That's just the health student in me, rearing it's ugly healthy head.

the problem with me is that i am 25 and i feel i'm around 20... maybe 21:) and i guess most of my bf were younger than me. but i realized that's because i kind of forget subconsciously how old i am and i'd rather be in a crowd of guys of age i feel i am :)

if u are, then it explains why u are used to seeing such fanciful and garish costumes on the stage.
most singers from other parts of asia or western dun wear such stuff when performing. imagine nirvana or linkin park or eminem wearing something like what those johnny boys wear... :sweat:

ryoko - ok, that speed is not too bad then bcoz if i were to break it into pieces and u/l it to YSI, it takes me at least 1/2hr for each piece. and that would mean a few days work whereas i u/l this file within 4 hours... ok, will continue with the next file then...

kaja, let me give u a hint, i was a teenager when u were born... which qualifies me as an oba-oba ...

as for Jun smoking, that was no acting in Tokyo Tower...

Thanks for the info. The statistic I provided was from some study I read (don't remember which one). Of course, these numbers aren't finite. There is always the chance of false reporting, underreporting, and I don't know what they set the criteria of smoking as (e.g. did they count a social smoker as a smoker). So of course, there is the possibility that more than half of the men in Japan smoke.

But that just makes it so much more disappointing because the more people who smoke, the more normal the behaviour becomes. And Japan's anti-smoking laws suck.


Anyways, back on topic of Arashi. I was the one who asked before if anyone wanted the How's It Going concert uploaded to my clubbox but no one replied so I kinda just let that go. Anyway, it's being uploaded now so it's available from both the file server from Arwenna and from my clubbox.

nope am not japanese, but as long as they just wear it on stage and suits the song they are singing and the occassion ( ? ) i dont mind.... years ago i might have say "what the hell are they wearing" but after quite sometimes those "weird" becomes "normal" to my eyes :P but cant imagine nirvana wearing those fancy clothes... doesnt feel it fits them well :rofl: i suddenly remember... no one also wears village people's clothes on the street right?
