I know, I can't believe Aiba smokes either, so sad so sad. It just ruins the baka, silly image of him in my mind. For some reason, I can picture Nino smoking. He seems like the smoking-to-relieve-stress type to me. Sho, I don't picture smoking at all. Maybe because I don't see the tough guy image that people say he has (lol, I find it kinda funny that he was a bully as a kid!). And Jun, I see him smoking...it's sad to say but it kinda fits his image, non?

i don't like when people around me smoke! me cloth always stink and my eyes are very sensitiv. Well, what can you do, I'm sad that they smoke too. :shamefulcry:

Hmm...I think none of the guys is an only child. Ohno, Nino, and Jun have an older sister [correct me if I'm wrong]. Aiba has a younger brother named Yusuke. Sho has a younger sister and brother. Ohno is a mom's boy--definitely. I think Ohno still lives with his family. Jun is very close with his family. Not too sure about Nino. I know Aiba helps out his family at the restaurant when he can and one of his secrets, well not a secret anymore, is that he likes to bathe with his brother. Not too sure about Sho though, I just know he helps his little brother in studies when he has the time.
And your other question earlier about best friends in the group. Nino and Sho are the closest with one another in the group. Sho worries a lot about Nino. I actually think Jun is close with everyone--he worries about Arashi the most. Ohno is close with Nino as well. In pictures, the pairings are mostly Ohno and Nino, Jun by himself, Aiba and Sho, so you get the impression that they're close...but I think everybody in Arashi are close with one another and get along well.

About the smoking thing, sorry for bringing it up again, but I didn't know Sho and Aiba smoked. I know Nino did for a fact because I've seen pictures and his gums aren't a healthy pink. I've seen Sho smoked in PIKANCHI, but I didn't think he actually smokes. Someone from another forum said they saw Aiba smoking but they weren't 100% sure that it was Aiba so for now...I'm not concluding that he smokes.
Yeah smoing definately sucks, but I don't mind if people do it, just not around me...It's just that most smokers are inconsiderate and light up right next to you and blow smoke in your direction, even if it's obvious that you dont smoke and dont particularly enjoy your quality of air being depleated..
But as for the guys, I've seen pics of Nino smoking but the rest of the guys, I'll just assume they dont or it's rumors unless proof that they do surfaces, but either way I really dont care....I think I'd survive inhaling smoke just to hear Aiba-chan laugh and smile (it makes my day), if he smokes that is....
...and guys with nail polish dont bother me, at least it's black and not pink (Tsuyoshi) LOL!!! I think I prefer guys with little or no hair, but a small goat or soulpatch is alright....PS: AJ rocks!!!
ekhm so it's just me? i always thought the strongest relationships in arashi were jun-ohno, sho-nino and aiba.... but maybe i simply haven't seen enough of arashi :sweat:

To me, I never noticed a particular link between Nino and Sho... Will pay more attention from now on! I noticed that Aiba and Sho were really good friends, as good as Ohno and Nino, then I would say Sho and Ohno, Ohno and Nino, Jun and Nino...
I think that Sho is the one who cares the most about each member. He cares about everyone, in fact, guests, fans... It's what I feel when I watch him... He's aware of everyone, so I wasn't surprised to know he's an elder brother, and the only one of the group.
If I think about the duos which looks less getting along well... Then I would say that Aiba and Nino/Jun might be that kind... Cause Nino is frank and not always patient with Aiba, and Jun don't get easily into Aiba's hyper-genki mood.
But really there is no doubt they all like each other very much! They're really cheerful when they are together!!
So sorry to hear (read :sweat: ) that Jun smokes... I really donLt like that, but I guess I can live with that as long as is Jun :mrgreen: ... seriously... I donLt know why do people who smoke find so good in that, NOT HEALTY!!!!!
However, going to other topic, I read that Jun and Aiba where very close to Takki, and Sho, Nino and Ohno to Tsubasa, this when they all were Jrs... and if we think about the personalities of all of them, really seems like Aiba and Jun on one side, and Sho, Nino and Ohno on the other, are more alike to each other, but I also think the chemistry among all five is so good... they are great together!!!!

I didn't know Jun was close to Takki. I knew Aiba was. I think Sho's close with Takki too but then again not too sure. But yeah, Arashi is close to Tackey&Tsubasa. I remember reading an article where Takki said he really admires Arashi and wants to be their producer!

at first i was like i can't see nino smoking but now when i think about it, i can see it, when i look at him he looks kinda frail or sick, i don;t really know how to put it but i have a performance by them, and i will upload it soon. now matsu-jun always plays cool and serious characters but i think in real life he is opposite and really out going, i don;t think he is a smoker, if he is that is just really upsetting. :puppydog:

fybabe, i am probably the most un-goth person ever...and i've never been accused of being introverted ^_^ i'm probably more of the bespectacled girl next door type...meaning that i do wear glasses (not when i cosplay tho...unless its appropriate) and am way more normal than most of my friends...

it wouldn't surprise me or bother me to learn that any or all of the guys smoke....everyone in my family smokes except myself and my sister (she used to smoke tho...but i ratted on her to my parents and they made her quit). i don't like smoking and i'd prefer it if no one smoked...but i can live with it. i drink too much caffine, so i can't argue with anyone elses addictions...
and actually, i find that most smokers are very considerate of non-smokers...its the rare smoker that is completely unaware of non-smokers around them. non-smokers just tend to notice the rude smokers more than the considerate ones.
in japan, its a different story tho...some friends of mine went last year and they said that everyone in japan smokes...there are no non-smoking areas for the most part. if you are allergic to smoke or whatnot...you probably don't want to go to japan...its everywhere
and from just watching all the clips and reading whatever articles i can find, Jun and Ohno seem to be close...and Sho and Nino are close...Aiba seems to mostly do his own thing
