Thank you for the How is it going concert! Seems like I was one of the few lucky people to be able to d/l it. The vids work for me. Again I have to say that Ohno is the new Mr Timberlake and I didn't know that Jun gets some good singing parts with ohno in the begining! (haven't seen the end yet I am way to tie...:sleep:)

I don't think Takki would fit well in Arashi either. Their styles are so very different. Plus, I like Takki and Tsubasa just fine together!
@fybabe -- Wow, you've seen their Iza, Now con like 50 times!? I've seen it about 10 times. Even my brother recognizes the songs now. Everytime I pop in a disc in the DVD player, he'd ask...are you watching those Arashi guys AGAIN!? LOL, but yeah, I really like their Iza, Now con better than their How's it going con (except that I like Sho playing the piano in Blue and Nino playing the guitar to Yume). My favorite performances are RIGHT BACK TO YOU & PIKANCHI DOUBLE. Awesome dancing and I like the interactions the guys have with one another XD Oohh and the MC talk was HILARIOUS!
I just downloaded a video from emule of Sho speaking english. Well, the video is really short and he only says one sentence but I love his accent (his is more beautiful than mine even after my two years learning english at university :puppydog: )

yes Sho is bilingual, he speaks japanese and english... he learnt his english at Keio, where he has studied all his life... he is also called Keio boy sometimes... :woot:

I like all genres of music and am very versitile, I remember when people looked at me strange for being a Backstreet boy and Korn fan..LOL!
But in short, good music is good music, and sometimes I want genki sunshine and other times I want angsty love and death!! ..make sense? I've been a Gackt/jrock fan for a long time but nothing in the pop arena ever caught my ear or eye until Arashi....well besides the occasional Namie Amuro or Exile.
Completely not related to anything but I just finished watching the How's it Going concert and I would love to see these guys live. I think more than anything, I'd go to their show for the dancing just because I'm so in love with dance! They each have their strengths and weaknesses but they work great as a group. I wonder how long they had to practice to coordinate so well. And whoever their choreographer is, he/she is amazing!
Ohno and Jun fit hip hop dance so well. Ohno is the pop and lock master, man, holy crap! I love watching these two do hip hop because their movements are so defined and they lock so well! Nino fits pop and lock really well too.
Sho's dances like how a break-dancer would (though I don't think he breakdances...). He's a little stiff in his movements but he puts a lot of power behind his actions so that he still looks good dancing!
Aiba...what a great dancer but I don't think he's suited to hip hop. He's too light on his feet! And in his movements. I think he'd do great in jazz or street jazz though. The dances in Iza, Now suited him much more since those weren't quite fully hip hop but more fusions of different types. I still love Aiba-chan!
I wonder if they're hard at work, preparing for their concert now...darnit, I wish I was going to Japan!

but my friends and colleagues told me they all buy tickets from scalpers before the concert, so i hope it's still sold there :fingerscrossed:
btw, arashi is my first pop 'boy-band' group that i actually seriously listen to in my life too... thanks to jun :sweat: but i really dig their music, honto! it's pop but with an edge and i soooo like sho's rapping coz it's rare in asia :applaud: thank god their music sound more mature than their age or looks, but with their age's energy level (am i contradicting myself?)
and i'm normally sooooo fussy about music. there are some stuff that i stay away from, like soppy boy bands... sigh...
i'm just fresh on the japanese music scene so i'm not familiar with many musicians. what kind of music does gackt sing? but for sure v6, txt is really not my kind of thing...

I like Arashi's whole pop with a twist of rock and rap, but I'm a sucker for a good ballad too! Tomodoinagara is my fav Arashi song..Yeah V6 makes my ears bleed... and TnT, well I like Tsubasa stuff but not too much a fan of Takki's singing...
OT - Gackt's music is pretty much every genre, but mostly rock (classical, hard, soft)...His voice is unreal, he sings with sooo much passion...I'll stop meow, cuz this is Arashi thread and I could go on forever...He's not as gothic as you think though, well not since leaving Malice Mizer anyways...But he can be genki too (dancing cats and dressing like a school girl LOL)...

Clubbox works on java applets, so depending on what your security setting are, some people have to adjust them to get clubbox to work, but it's more like ysi than bt because you connect to a server not an actual person, so the file is downloadable whenever you want...
