It's a common thing they do in Japanese, all the numbers have at least two pronunciations, and they use the first syllable (sometimes changing the first letter with diacritial marks) to spell out words like:

3=sa (san)
10=to (tou)
4-shi

yay satoshi

caligari has a song called '37564'

3=mi (mittsu)
7=na (nana)
5=go
6=ro (roku)
4=shi

minagoroshi = kill everybody

and panic channel has a song called '829 service'

8=pa
2=ni
9=ku

panikku = panic

yeah the number thing instead of names is quite common in johnnys. check out their sports days and their numbbers on tshirts. i dont remember if arashi members had it but tsuyo kinki had 2(tu)4(yo)4(shi)

tokio leader joshima had 0(o)9(ku)3(san) meaning wife or the mrs,

plus you can have 56 (goro) or 164 (hiroshi) cool huh?

i thought it's cool that i finally felt for both the characters!~ i mean... D has done SO MUCH for M... come on gals! what the heck would u do when a guy has done so much for u, esp...saving ur family (from debt) and all? it's only right to fall in love w/ him! lol~! and when M said "thx" and "yes, in love"...omg~ i so felt for D!~ i mean... after all that he has done for this girl.. she has finally return the love! YEAH BABY!~ but it's so sad.. when both r finally in love, and M has confessed...they have to be apart!~ :shamefulcry: ~yet, i so believe there will be a sequel! keke~!
btw: a lot of ppl didn't like the kiss.. some even blame the "bloody sun"... lol~ but i really like it.. not only was it romantic...but i can still see their chins moving (HOT! must be some serious lips movement going on! lol~!!!! ) and M's hair moving.. that's so real... makes the kiss more real!~ and besides...because i couldn't really see the kiss... i can keep thinking about it... how it would be... in different version! lol~!

the kiss was perfect. it avoided making hardcore fans unconformatble and avoided the risk of it not being too passionate, it was so beautiful ahhhhh!! and pink D, domyouji doesnt get tied up by mum and i dont remember for sure but TOJ 2nd isnt settled with rock paper scissors, bsides in the manga the TOJ is just the middle of the story. theres sooo much more i wish they had done., you should read the manga youll love it!!

I forgot to add in my last post, i'm in the process (slowly) of translating this "article" i found on a chinese Arashi site. It talks about the members individual birthdays and the author wrote up a personality analysis for each member. i thought it was interesting. i'll post it here once i'm done translating it. It's not really a magazine article, it's basically the person who did her own research on the birthdays. i thought it was pretty cool!

this episode is Jun's first episode as a grandchild and it's a Judo dojo. Jun helped the Obaa-chan to clean it up as a present to the Ojii-chan.

pink dragon, nino is left handed but he was trained to write with his right hand and since he injured his left hand while in his Junior days, he had been using his right hand a lot.

I was just informed by a girl on Live Journal that Machan was obviously starring in adorama called Kanebo (?), do you know anything about that? She will post some screencaps soon, but couldn't give much info yet, just that his name is Akira and that his dad is building a home for old ppl ... something like that! Any help? :confused:

Thanks arwenna for the info. Gomen ne! In my mind i was thinking Jun+Ohno but when i typed it, it came out as Sho+Ohno! I was in a hurry to get the post up before busting out to do last minute Christmas shopping. Yeah, i thought the karate part was weird (i knew it didn't make sense to what i saw in the ep) but it stuck in my mind like that cuz the person who requested the episode from me referred to it as the karate dojo ep. LOL :hehe: Again, sorry about the incorrect info everyone! I've made the changes to the post.

so Nino hurt his hand before therefore needed to train to use his right hand. I see, i should've guessed cuz i remember reading someone he hurt one of his hand therefore he uses a hands-free mic? but i still think it's pretty good that he can utilize both hands. he's got both the left and right brain working haha..i once tried to make myself learn left-hand...well, it didn't work!

Ah, you must be referring to Lea's post in the LJ? I read that too...i thought Aiba's only dorama (well, to my knowledge) was Mukodono.
