Because the knife was cursed.
The script goes: Since the beginning of the PV, a storyline was told. A knife that is cursed. It can make anyone who holds it to kill anybody.
And the seller already warned Hyde about it, but he still bought it. in the end, he killed Tetsu, and went to the church to ask for God's forgiveness (coz he killed someone).
I really forgot where I got the interview, it was an old article. I can't really point out the source for this one. Sorry.

If I were the scriptwriter, I'd changed the cursed knife into a pair of red-dancing shoes. Everyone who wears it will dance their lives away (just like the original stories). When Hyde took the shoes and wears them, he swooped away Tetsu and both of them will dance and dance and dance and dance till they reach a cliff and they fall together.
Below the cliff, both of their bodies were gone, the only thing that left was the pair of red shoes, already torn in pieces.
Hmm... where should I put Ken and Yukki in the script then? lolz

No It's just I'v been bored and when watching Laruku when bored, I start to wonder what the meaning of the song's and PV's are, I really don't get the lyrics to lose control and I'm just curious and I love Hyde's deranged look in loose control PV, but mine is bad qulity to take pics from and I realised I don't think i have a live of loose control in full.

whoohaah...I haven't been here for the longest time!! O-hisashiburi...how's everyone doing? Actually I went to their Osaka concert yesterday on 12 and 13th. I just got back last night feeling tired and hazy yet super excited :beaten: I managed to make a summary out of the saturday concert but totally forgot my note on sunday because I was totally in AWE. That day I was lucky enough to get a seat just 14 rows away from the stage I could see the their faces and feel the heat when fire balls shooting up from the bottom of the stage. Will tell you the details of the concert within the couple of days.

Oh, by the way, the lyrics of lose control. It's a very dark lyrics. I'm not the right person to translate it into good english (heck, I is no good talk english). But at the moment, I can assure you that the lyrics are very dark but it doesn't mention about death bluntly, it only subtly mentioned about a very young/innocent pair of eyes (possibly a child) is affraid of closing (means: death).
A~h, I miss Bryan-san, who translates most of j-rock's lyrics in his site. too bad the site's closed now.
