finally!! a new single!! i've been waiting for this :dancing:

Here's a little more info:

L'Arc provides NHK with Olympic theme song

Rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel has announced their first single since August of last year. Titled "BLESS," it will be used as the theme song for NHK's coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

"BLESS" will go on sale January 27, though fans will be able to hear the song on December 6 when it starts being played on NHK shows such as "Sunday Sports" and "MUSIC JAPAN."

It was also revealed that the band's 2007 single "Hurry Xmas" is being reissued on December 9 with a limited edition jacket design and insert.

In a separate announcement, bassist tetsu declared that he has changed his stage name to tetsuya, which will be capitalized as TETSUYA for his solo works.

Wow, this is all some pretty interesting news. I'm looking forward to the single.

However, Tetsuya? That's pretty weird. He'll always be Tetsu to me.

Hey everyone! Haven't been here in a while, hope everyone's doing well!

Here's a video I wanted to share with you all. It's a clip of Laruku in the studio recording their new single, BLESS:
**WARNING: this is not the entire song, it's about 1:40 of it

Also, here's a youtube link to a video from a show with some clips of the Olympics coming up a brief shots of Laruku in the studio. This clip features an extended preview so it still isn't the whole song but it's still about 3 minutes long

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn6BKauw0Gw

Lastly, here's just the song which I think is the audio from the extended preview and it's about 3 minutes long:
