Yeah.

But to have any chance of winning, you gotta play. :)

Just as a follow-up, we were able to get Yoko's problem fixed, and when we got done she said "Arigato gozaimashita" I love working with people that have manners :woot: [/list:u]

Cool.

I hope it was one of those call that gets recorded for later inspection by the management. So, you can have a little laugh later.

... or you could forget about lottery. Dance in a strip club, marry a 88 year old Texan with a 1.6 billion $ fortune and try to get the money a year later when he dies. If it doesn't work, go to the supreme court. ;)

Ugh, had to suffer through a demonstration of the new "does everything but windows" copier we just bought (leased?)... Our VP went full-tilt anal 'cause the resolution of the copy wasn't 100% perfect compared to the original.

Get a freaking life, knucklehead. :shakehead:

Nah, that's when the boss will stroke out... It was her idea to buy the thing.

As we were watching the demo of the copier, she made the comment "it sure is mechanically complex..."

Duhhhhhhh, it's a copier, not two midgets inside a box with carbon paper........ :shakehead: :bleh:

Knuckleheads don't fall too far from the same tree apparently.

I'm sure it'll be an expensive and painful lesson for them.

*sees a wonderful image of two managers writhing on the ground in pain*

Why do I have a vision of Cletus and Brandine from the Simpsons?
2 Mar 2006, 11:04 #2059
speaking of...

This morning, my underlings were talking about getting Lay-Z boy recliners to replace our chairs...
So i made a reference to work hammocks... and one of them asked me where do you get those..
I said, "At the Hammock Hut."
Peon1 says, "Where's that?"
I say, "down by in the Hammock district..." (*sigh* joke is ruined.)

Peon2 asks, "Where is that?"

i sigh, and have to explain the entire Mr Scorpio episode of the simpsons to them.

it's just not funny when you have to retell an entire 30 min episode from a hazy mind, for them to get the punchline.

I've never seen an entire episode of The Simpsons.
