you're a girl!!?!?!?!
Nope. I'm a guy. Last time I checked anyway. I don't really work in a 976 phone service.
I do have idiots calling in sometimes, but they're not funny. They're more like jerks. I do have one guy though, calling from somewhere in California I think (area code 310). He always add san to my name. We have funny and difficult conversations.
Me: "Hi, it's been a while. How are you doing?"
Other guy: "Yes"
Me: "How the weather in California?"
Other guy: "Um... yes."
Me: :dotdotdot: :headscratch:

Recently the company I work for had an opening so the calls kept coming in. I happen to pick this one funny call
me: (company name) how may I help you?
other: where are you?
me: our office? in JB
other: you want lorry driver, right? what company aaa? and how is the work?
me: we are landscape contractors so the work is mainly transporting our workers and some supplies to the site.
other: sorry?
me: (repeating the description)
other: aaa... speak malay can? cannot speak english
me: (huh? you were speaking to me just now in english what?)
Another one
me: opening greeting
other: I've read the papers and I read that you're looking for site executive with experience.
me: yes we are.
other: I have 4 years of experience and I'm very sure that I'm the one that you're looking for. I'm sure I'm very suitable for the job.
me: (whoa, boastful)
Though anyway he went for the interview but shrank in the session when my boss were asking for his work experience to the details :hehe:

... a lot of experience, right. :hehe:
We had our share of people who said they had a lot of experience, but in the end had none. The worst part is, we hired some of them.

What really bugs me is that our knucklehead boss will walk by while several of us are having an conversation, and she'll say "What?"
Dammit, it doesn't concern you, so keep on walking and mind your stinking business... We're not going to replay the entire conversation just 'cause you came nosing by...! :grumble:
Idiot.

Idiot.
She apparently doesn't know the "three minute rule". If you haven't been in a conversation for at least three minutes, keep your trap shut.

Idiot.
At least your boss is not a drill sergeant who dislike her workers to speak other than work when she is around. I ended up conversing to my colleague while looking at the screen when she is in her office and wishing every minute that she would leave :grumble:

Hmm, I'll to remember that... I'll bring a whistle, so if there's a violation I'll blow it and call for two free throws. :hehe:
