foreign labourers went on strike yesterday.
2 different sites are having a launch today and another one is due to finish yesterday.
grass uncut, shrubs unpruned.
I'm so darn tired being chased by the clients.
at one point when my bosses faced the workers, i'm almost afraid that some of them might do something really stupid like whack my bosses with the axe that I supplied them last week to chop off a tree.
wonder what will happen today.

3-1/2 days: she showed up in the morning just to check up on everyone. :shakehead:

I'm guessing she's a little on the "anal" side

My day at work was pretty decent. I got stuff done for myself mostly. I had no appts scheduled and I didn't need many units to reach my quota. So, I went to a dr's appt, came to the office and did crossword puzzles w/ my co-workers, went to the bank, did a home visit for a client who's cool and doesn't piss me off, got my eyebrows waxed, turned in my paperwork, and....went home :hehe:

One fiasco this week that WAS horrible but turned out great:

My paycheck only included 1 week's pay (I get paid biweekly). Commense me freaking out. I called Payroll yesterday and they said "Hmm, we have both timecards here so I don't know what happened, I guess we slipped a digit and someone else got half of your money, hahahaha!". -__-;; I said "Um, don't laugh, it's not funny, I have bills to pay". She said "We'll cut you a check and send it to your office tomorrow". I got it today. Oddly enough, it was slightly more somehow, I guess because the taxes were taken out separately instead of a percentage of the chunk :woot: Anyway, I'm assuming it's right so I'm not saying jack!

I think this is a bad sign: When I got to work today, just before I walked in I said, "Fight-oh, Oh!" :beaten:

I officially work at Target now as a cashier. Yay (and I say that with lots of sarcasm). Yesterday was my first day and already I encountered some mean customers. Oh well, it's a lot better than working at Disneyland.

Congrats. At least you won't have to see annoying kids all the time.

For me crappy work will be over the next few days. Not only I'll be away and won't be able to watch dramas, but I won't have an internet connection either. I'll probably go crazy. I'll probably be living with my coworkers in an hotel, let's hope nobody snores. :bleh:

Goodbye technological world... :shamefulcry:

dont pack any sharp objects that you might plunge into your snoring coworkers throats during the night by accident.

I'll keep that in mind. I could always put a pillow over their heads until they stop snoring... ;) :hehe:

remember that latex gloves leave a residue, use leather gardening gloves, after use, soak in water to shrink and discard near some bums. :hehe:
