dang.. that might help team unity if you don't get each other blind first.

gaijin mark wrote:[image] The incredibly stupid ideas never end. Today they want everybody to come in wearing something blue or white. Something about "team unity" I have opted for my "glow in the dark special" from my vast t-shirt collection. If you're in the Monterey Park area today and your retinas start to burn, I apologize. [/list:u]
Talk about a team unity repelent.
Just as a follow up: The only people that came in wearing a blue/white today were the resident butt-kissers ( I am SO shocked)

Gotta love the brown-nosers
I just found out that I have to teach Periods 1-3 in a row without any breaks! GAH! :grumble:
So, I got a trouble report from an Office Depot store, and while I'm on hold listening to their voice mail/commercial it says, "Office Depot support s a drug free work environment" As opposed to, , , A DRUG TAKING WORK ENVIRONMENT :woot:
My job interview today sucked ass. :shamefulcry:

Gomen, K. :(
There'll be other interviews... Consider it a practice run.
kitakaze wrote:My job interview today sucked ass. :shamefulcry:Ganbarre yo K! Like Racer said, consider it a practice run. Learn from what you did wrong (and what you did right) and use the experience for the next one. [/list:u]

But you didn't get the actual results right away, did you?! I mean, just because YOU think it went bad... doesn't mean they thought is. Don't give up the hope! :victory:
No...I know I didn't get it. They basically told me they didn't want me working there for my own good. Since I have no experience in hospital they didn't want me to get chewed up and make a mistake. They did send my resume to a slower hospital in Petaluma, but there's no openings there.

Argh! I know how you feel then, because the teaching profession here is the same thing. It's really hard to get a job if you have no experience.
But like... if you don't get a job, you can't get the experience, and if you can't get the experience, you can't get the job.
Mebbe you should try volunteering at a hospital while keeping your current job? That way you're still making money, but you're getting the experience you need. Of course, you'll be working yourself to death...

Yeah...that's the only problem. I don't know if they'd actually let me volunteer now, since I'm not a student anymore. I'll probably have to go for retail pharmacy :banghead: . God, I hate some medical patients...they've got serious issues.

Ah, so then apparently I teach your medical patients. :hehe:

better luck next interview. :victory:

Heh heh, I hope not. A lot of medical patients are drop-outs (although a lot of them are college grads  ). Medical is California's "socialized health insurance" that's only for those with need. Well, most of the time.
That's what sucks about interviews, you never really know what to expect. I remember I went to an interview once and I was expecting them to ask me something technical or maybe about my previous work experience. The first question he asked was, "What was your favorite subject in school?" I'm thinking, "Huh, WTF?" I guess I should have said, "Pyschology, so I can figure out what's going on in your head?!!?" [/list:u]
