First I read Tabana is working the weekend. Now B-san? What gives?

I don't have to go "in" to work, but I have a lot of marking. I'm planning to do it all on Saturday so I can have Sunday to relax...

Today a girl in my MYP class completely frustrated me and I took my frustrations out on my next class. >>sigh<< I hate mood swings.

What a day: had a going away luncheon for a guy who's been abused at the company for 21 years... The Queen made a speech about how dedicated and conscientious he was, but failed to mention how she abused him by working him Saturdays and Sundays, taking advantage of his good-nature, and never giving him a raise.

I had to keep stuffing food in my face to keep from laughing and/or making a sarcastic remark...

Better than how we ripped our new COO a new one.. and that was us being reserved... I heard thru the grapevine that when he went to one of th satellite offices, they tore him 5 new ones.. imagine 80 empolyees bitching at him all at once, with no holds barred. We were rather conservative in comparison.

edit:
oh yeah..

i've worked almost every weekend for the last year.

So desu.

I just saw a thing on the news saying that employers are supposed to archive ALL e-mails going in and out of the company.

Of course, that only applies to e-mails using the company's mail server: they can't do squat about web-based e-mail like Yahoo! Mail or hotmail. :P

The boss is going away for a few weeks on business.

The good: He's going to be away for a few weeks!
The bad: I get handed piles of his work before he goes :(

The Wicked Witch is having one of her end-of-year anxiety attacks... :shakehead:

Freaking idiot.

They've been in business for over 30 years and she's still sweating her ass off. :shakehead:

I'm about one anxiety attack away from saying "What is your goddamn problem????!!!!"

I just heard one of my co-workers ask, "Hey, is Spain part of Europe?" So, effective IMMEDIATELY for the next 30 days, there is a moratorium, I will not criticize the intelligence of our customers, and if I have offended any customers, I humbly apologize  [/list:u] ("Is Spain part of Europe?" :grumble: what a maroon!)

back in the mid 90's when i used to take random spur of the moment solo car trips to other states, i stopped at a diner/truck stop in Oregon about an hour north of the CA border. Two of the truckers were talking about picking up migrants for the harvest, and if he should charge to give a bunch of them rides. This kid (12-14) sitting in the booth behind me asked his older brother (i assume) where mexico was.

I know exactly what you mean gm. I once had a co-worker who was talking to someone on the phone and then yelled out to everyone in our dept. Are we East or West of the Mississippi River? The office was on Long Island, NY. The island is sitting in the Atlantic Ocean. How much further East of the Mississippi River could we get? :hehe: Oh did I forget to mention that the young lady who asked the question grew up on Long Island? :shakehead: Things that make you go Hmmmmm! :hehe: :hehe:

Had my performance appraisal...

Got a raise and a bonus plus profit share...

The raise is effective January 1st. Bonus and profit share I receive next week.

Considering I've only been working here since the beginning of September, that's not bad.
