Looks like I'm gonna have to find another way to get A.D.'s credit card info

No, she's a clueless pinhead who talks teamwork but doesn't do anything to encourage it...
If I took two weeks off, would she still sit on her hands and wait for me to come back? Three?
If she did, she's a bigger idiot than I thought.
She couldn't manage her way out of a paper bag. :shakehead:
She should just stay in her office with the door closed and clip her nails and eat peanuts until she's buried with the empty shells.
My annoying boss is gone for 3 days for an exhibition :victory: :dancing: :applaud:

I'd rather send her down a mine shaft with Claymore.

LOL!
I hate dealing with insurances! Right now I've been sitting here for 45 minutes, trying to figure out how to file a stupid electronic claim with Medicare and the instructions might as well be in Greek since they're so freaking hard to understand! :usuck:
Our 'net connection here at work sucks: how can I possibly moderate this message board with such a slow connection?? :beaten:
I think our 'net connection here consists of two soup cans and a string. :bleh:

This from the guy who had dialup at home until recently :beaten:
I'm LOVING our 24m/bit connection here :)

Not much better when trying to cancel one. It's amazing how much they have people available when you're asking for a quote, but when it's time to give them the boot, it takes forever. My cellphone battery died while I was on hold.
I had an unexpected phone call from a Japanese supplier yesterday, a guy who I have been emailing with (In mixed Japanese/English, mostly English) for a while but had never spoken to before. He started speaking to me in Japanese, and I temporarily forgot all I knew when put on the spot to answer him :grumble: :grumble:

Dialup is faster than our work connection. :shakehead:

That's gotta suck.

Big time.
Our office is located in some nether region where we're too far away from a DSL substation, so we don't have access to the higher bandwidth DSL... Other alternatives are probably too expensive for our cheapskate boss (we're lucky to have 'net access at all)...
Primitive mind running a near-high tech company. :shakehead:

Don't you hate it when that happens? I always forget Urdu when put on the spot. It's so frustrated, especially when you really wanna try your skills out, eh?

As they say, "You get what you pay for" and since she's paying for nothing, that's what she's getting. :shakehead: [/list:u]

It is. But we're getting some Japanese visitors in the office tomorrow so hopefully i'll do better if I get the chance

Exactly.
Since it doesn't affect HER, she won't do squat to change anything.
A total slave to inertia. :shakehead:

Sometimes I even mess up simple words like thank you and sorry. :ashamed: Then spend the next 15 minutes telling myself, "$hit, I should have said this or that".
It's easier once you get the conversation going.
