Sometimes I even mess up simple words like thank you and sorry. :ashamed: Then spend the next 15 minutes telling myself, "$hit, I should have said this or that".
It's easier once you get the conversation going.
Exactly! For some reason small-talk is a lot harder than a main conversation. I guess cause it's easier to pick out mistakes when your sentence is just like two words long. :hehe:

So, when you get a raise they send it thru the mail? Most places I've worked you have to go in and have a meeting with your manager and he(or she) gives some b.s. about what a great employee you are, but times are hard and we really can't afford to give you much of a raise. :beatyou: [/list:u]
... cause he boosted his salary to buy a 60' yacht. :hehe:
I wish I could get job offers like Peter Moore. He left Microsoft (head of xbox division) for EA (head of EA sports). EA is giving him USD 1,500,000 in compensation for leaving MS, plus USD 333,000 to assist with relocation-related expenses. Add his annual base salary of USD 550,000 and some stocks. Life is tough.
If someone's willing to give me a million bucks to drag my butt in Japan, I'm willing to skip the relocation fee. :bonk:
I just spent the last 6 HOURS doing work for my course. It's starting to suck WAY too much of my time! I don't have time to watch dramas or read my HP books or anything. :mecry:
Is it okay to talk crap about my course in here since it's work-related?

wow, sounds intense, and a lot of work...of course, vent all you want, this is definitely the place for that, we are all ears.....
for me, not really much of venting other than, trying to endure the almost full work week back, from my trip overseas, and a bit of jet-lag. I can't wait to relax again with the weekend ahead.

Or lack of. :hehe: :muack:
@Q: Thanks! Only two more days until the weekend, so hang in there, buddy. I'm taking a day off the course to catch up on some drama. Hopefully I'll be able to talk myself into keeping this plan.
