Shades of Seinfeld: "Hey George, what are you doing, you bastard? ...We're 30,000 feet over your head you son-of-a-bitch...!" :hehe:

Okay, so I just finished my first interview... and I'm a little scared. This is that one student who is somewhat suicidle and I've opened myself for her. Which has been helping. But now her mom is asking me to take her kid out (after school) every now and again and to become the student's "true" friend.

Erm... this goes against the teacher/student protocol...

Ooooooh... You'll have to gently but firmly reinforce that point.

Although, one of my son's teachers is good friends with him: They both play guitar, and he used to teach my son guitar too. He spends time with him outside of school sometimes. (He is happily married, BTW :) )

Yea, that's true, and I'm being asked by the PARENT to do this, so it's not like I'm misbehaving. It's just a lot of pressure. I mean, how do I handle myself in this situation? I'll probably take her out to a Japanese restaurant or something since she's into the Japanese culture. Mebbe I should befriend her online...

Cool.

Is that the name of the company, "A WAN Accelerator Company Out of San Francisco?"
