I think he realized that he was wrong after the engineering manager backed me up.

I think you should come over here and have a good talk with MY VP. Btw, that really nasty VP I keep ranting about is the one who invited the Fish! people to come to our school.

That'll only work if they let you get back to your desk and access your PC...

So I finally got my marks done. In my Film and Video class (grade 11), I have 25 students. I'm failing 11. That means I have to do 11 call homes... :grumble:

How awesome would it be to be able to take a Film and Video class? Beats Metal Shop hands down :hehe:

LOL!

The cool thing for me is that I got the "make" the class. I'm also the only teacher who gets to teach it, so really I can do whatever I want.

I actually showed my kids Survive Style 5+. :hehe:

Seriously though, I was born 20 years too early. I would have loved to be able to do that.

With you as teacher of course :muack:

Kids these days really do have such grand variety and options. Too bad they don't realize it until it's too late.

With you as teacher of course :muack:

Even tho I'm failing half the class? ;)

LOL! Your son must be proud of his dad. ;)

The one kid I told you guys about who keeps blowing kisses at me while I'm teaching is getting 24% in my class. So I called mum. When he showed up today to class, instead of complaining that I had called home, he says, "So you finally got to meet my mom. Next step, marriage."

You're obviously too much of a distraction to him ;)

He wasn't like this when I taught him last year. He managed to pass that course (Media Arts). I think he managed a 47% and I bumped him up to a 52%.

Hmmm. Too kind maybe ;) His hormones have obviously got the better of him this year.

I hear that the year my son is in has a LOT of problems. There's been a few letters go out to say that some kids are not completing their studies enough to graduate  Luckily, my boy isn't one of them..

It's not half the class, it's ONLY 44% [/list:u]

47% is passing!!! I seem to recall that when I was in high school anything below 70% was considered failing!!! Geez, no wonder these kids are so dumb. :shakehead: [/list:u]

But I didn't say that 47% was a pass... :headscratch: I meant that he passed with a 52% because I bumped him from the 47% he initially acquired. Bad sentence structure on my part. Sumimasen.
