Anime Dad wrote:My boss has a nice boat: about 8m long, $125K replacement value. But that's not good enough for him, so he's buying a new one. 12m/36ft - and about $600K. And he's keeping the other one as a "Fishing boat" :banghead:

The two best things about boat ownership: Buying it... And getting rid of it. :beaten: :hehe:

I'm alone at work for the whole week. Half the guys are in Seoul, the rest are in Miami. This sucks. :banghead:

Why aren't you at either location?

I got home from work at 6:30pm... and now I gotta do lesson plans. :shamefulcry:

Bleh. Home works.

The trip to Korea was paid by another company. It seems they didn't want to pay an extra ticket. Cheap bastards. :usuck: That didn't stop them to call me in the middle of the night, because they were having problems over there. I bet they're eating all the times at McDonald's, while I'm dreaming of jajang. I think they're afraid I won't come back, if they bring me there. :hehe:

As for Florida, it was for a conference. I can't believe I got bumped by someone's wife. :grumble:

No, cause my boss offered it to my coworker. Seems they can't spend a week without seeing each others. She must calls 10 times a day, minimum. :shakehead:

Of course, she's not paying for anything. So they got a free trip for a week out of the country. It's not like she were needed there or paying her expenses.

Gosh, that bites. I wonder how they choose who gets to go out of a group of peeps who all do the same work. Mebbe you can call dibs for the next trip. :fingerscrossed:

Good luck krim!

I'm currently posting from the bus on the way home. Good thing for wifi!

It's been a setup and settle kind of week. It's totally different here. For one, the folks here are mostly young. I guess that's what you find with a relatively new company.

Go krim!

My boss took his new laptop to Italy, racked up over $1000 in net access charges while away

I spent the entire day marking Analytical Paragraphs, and I still haven't gotten around to marking the unit tests. Working really gets in the way of accomplishing other important things... like drama-watching, doesn't it? :beaten:

Had this Japanese customer on the line today. Her name was Ritsuko and she sounded like she was about 80 years old. She told me she needed her internet working because she needed to make some plane reservations. I asked her if she was going back to Japan and she said, 'No man, I'm going to Vegas!!!"
