So I've deciced to cut my losses. There's no way I'll be able to mark all the essays for Monday, so the students will just have to wait.

In the meantime, I'm working hard on the last lesson plan (Photoshop CS3 Video!), and then I'll start creating their exams... which I realized I have to hand in to my Head on the 8th.

Alvarado-Niles Rd, Union City, CA

Can't give anymore info than that. Unless you really want to drive a car through the window of the office. Oh, wait, one of my co-workers already did that, LOL, no joke.

#$%^ing corporate #$%holes! :cursing:  :finger_devil: The get enough accounts so that we get work enough for 10 people, but we only have 5 to do it. Then they wonder why we have overtime. %$#ing retards. On top of that they're now scheduling breaks to make sure that we don't go over 15 minutes for breaks and 30 minutes for lunch. @#%ing @#$holes. With how hard we work, who gives a shit about that? It's not even paid. Stupid management, stupid corporate whores. They can shove their #%#ing spreadsheets up their asses.

Maybe. Except I hate the company I work for. It was better before we had a merger. The pencil-pushers in the new company are worse. The scary thing is, I like my supervisor and am on her side.... All our benefits are crappier, our 401k isn't as good, and we're supposed to work more with less. Typical corporate BS. I think the corporate controllers had record bonuses this year. I think my raise was twenty cents.

That's 20 cents more than me. :puppydog:

Our new division has a new policy. Every team within the division has to have a scapegoat for the failure every quarter. That is, the "continual improvement" process. One guy from each team gets taken out back and threatened.

My boss, who is actually a good guy (although he hates Asian people (he's been on report many time for abuse)), put me on the sh1t list early last November. After 7 years with the company (yes, I've been here longer than he has), the threat off job-loss comes to an end this Friday.

It's not his fault, he has to put someone on probation every quarter. That's the directive. But it sucks. This isn't the same company I started working for in 2001.

I'll either be an employed C++/CORBA programmer with 20+ years experience or a full-time re-seller of J-Idol merchandise come this Friday. :)

If I left that company, I'd give your boss the middle finger. Plus I'd probably leave a bag of burning dog shit at his door for being a racist. Maybe slash his tires...or not. Too bad I'm not in high school anymore. I could get away with that stuff then :hehe:

I just hate working period. Take today for an example. It was busy, so I didn't get to eat lunch until 3:30pm. All throughout my supposed lunch break, I was bouncing back and forth between helping customers and warming up my lunch. Not until 4:30, did i actually get to take my first bite, into an already cold lunch. F**K.
I'm looking into working at a host bar. No, SERIOUSLY. I can make a lot more money than what I'm making now, and plus I get to do what I like to do while I'm 'working'. Which (for those of you who don't know already) is drinking!
Who knows? Maybe I'll get a nice car out of it, should I choose that venture.

Hmmmmm. Something to think about.....

*end of rant*

Getting paid to drink? Yeah!

...... (i'm getting paid to surf the net... well, not technically, but...) :hehe:

at least you're getting paid to do something that you like.
I wish i was getting paid to kick peoples' asses, however that is not the case, as my fate would deem.
oh well, at least i have the drinking option still open to me! now to just see if i'm "cool" enough to be hired. :hehe:
