i'm five weeks into my new job as a crane operator. enjoying it. i use a potain igo 50.

On topic: There are no patients scheduled today, so my boss took off. Time to catch up on messages, posting on boards, and studying. I love when this happens. :victory: And tomorrow we're taking off early because of the election. :woot:

Lucky you. I went back to work yesterday after a week off, and I was seriously depressed :(

My boss has done his knee in, so he can't really move much. So he's been phoning my office every 5 minutes :(

Man that sucks. It's hard to post on messageboards when you have a boss checking in on you every 5 minutes, isn't it. :(

Well, i didn't think it would happen this soon, but yeah... the company i'm working for has begun ANOTHER merger/acquisition. This will be number 5, and this time my prospects w/ the new company aren't looking very good. Looks like i'll have til about Feb before i'm unemployed.

Most people in my office are off because tomorrow is a public holiday to benefit from a four day weekend. I came in anyway to write some briefing sheets but the whole webteam is on holiday so get all their calls. The phone rings every five minutes since this morning and it's already 2.30pm - I haven't even started working on my sheets. :grumble:

I already told my bosses that I will be leaving by the end of the year by cause of our eventual move to the bay area...

I don't know if I'm going to find a job over there. Hey, if all else fails.. I can pursue law school..:grumble:
