The moderator has already been selected, congrats to them :)
To all users who frequent this forum:
I will be deciding on a moderator for "Learn Japanese" forum. You may vote for any users (keep to 1 or 2 votes, don't just vote for all?!!!). All nominees must be self-nominated.. (PM me with an intro text to nominate yourself) so it means that even if everyone votes for one person, he or she must still have volunteered to be a mod.
Requirements? Keep the board tidy, assist newbies and other users in their queries, etc. Please refer to my earlier post hunting for mods:
http://jdorama.com/viewtopic_1879.htm
As a mod for "Learn Japanese" forum, you should also have a higher level of proficiency in the Japanese language over the other users, and try to assist where possible.
I'll post all nominees' intros (or rallies, or whatever u call it) here when they send me theirs. Not confirmed on the number of mods for this forum, will see the response first.

ahochaude wrote:First off, I would like to introduce myself. My username is "Ahochaude" (obviously), but I just go by "Aho". I am volunteering myself as a mod for the "Learn Japanese" section because this is the section that I visit the most (besides General).
The reason I am applying myself for this position is because I feel that I have somewhat the ability to assist newbies and regulars in their questions about the Japanese language. I may not have lived in Japan as long as some of the users here and in no way am I implying that my Japanese is anywhere near perfect/native level, but like everyone else here, I am still learning.
Also, I feel that I have good standing with the users on the board, which I feel is vital to being a successful moderator. I will also do my best to upkeep the forum, keeping it clear from double posts and "wrong forum" posting. I generally visit the forum everyday usually more than once, so as far as keeping an eye on things won't be a problem.
As far as experience, I have no moderator experience. Just posting mainly. But I am a quick learner and I will operate by Genma's standards and hopefully to everyone elses' satisfaction as well.
If there are any other candidates, I would love to have a collaberation with one of them. Two are always better than one (IMO) :hehe: Also, it would serve as an advantage because wherever I fall short, the other mod would (hopefully) be able to pick up at.
Plus, like I said earlier, this is a learning opportunity for anyone and everyone, so hopefully we can all work together and get what we so seek.

Bedi wrote:Hi! My name is Bedi (like my nickname ). I'm half German and half Turkish, living in Germany. I also lived many years in Turkey so I speak both languages like a native. My English... well you see how it is  . I'm learning Japanese since over a year now, not very long but I spend most of my free time on studying (also spend a lot of money for some private lessons >_<) and could reach the JLPT lvl 4 within a few months. My skills are a bit less thant JLPT lvl 3 now. I know there are people arounf whose Japanese skills are better than mine however since I'm regularly meeting Japanese friends and also have a lot of them in my messenger lists I always can give help to general questions.
Since learning Japanese is one of my hobbies and I'm really into it, it's some kind of pleasure to help others with their problems whenever I can.
I have some experience as administrator and moderator in several boards and would like to help you out moderatin, since your page is great and helpful to many people.
