But then again, there are people on the forum from all over the world! I am eternally jealous of them darn people. they DO NOT KNOW how lucky they are. O yea.. Anyone got any of Aya's own signature? I just wanna see what it looks like..

this is how aya's sig looks like. Pretty cool lookin! I battled for these at auctions for outrageous prices. They were autographed in front of my face but they'll do =] (since i might not ever ever see aya ever) each card goes thru about $80-100 USD depending on how crazy them fanboys are lol

He would've done a better job as DK then that lousy guy who got casted for the role.

Good thing Aya didn't get put into this movie....she would've had a tiny role and if she was the main girl in this movie.....that would've sucked too. Big waste of time for any big name Japanese actors and actresses this movie was.

i've always wondered how japanese people do sigs cos there names can be so much more difficult to write than westerns!
mind you that might be just cos i'm used to signing in roman. it takes me forever to write a sentence in japanese. making sure i get the brush strokes correct etc.
is it really that big a deal if you write a stroke one way and not the other? i mean if the end result is the same its ok surely?... i mean not everyone in the uk writes T in the same way, some start with a downward line, others the across line....

of course it was Tokyo Drift! those movies don't even play very well in the Japanese market.

in fact i just read an article that said the japanese movie market is starting to be less influenced by american films....that is to say, american films are starting to make less and less money in japan....and homegrown japanese movies are starting to make more money in japan by capturing a larger portion of the market.

For some yea....strokes matter.

If you think of it this way.....if you go according to strokes, is a lot easier to write the characters and more often then none have it look right and easy to read as well

hahahah makes sense to me.

American show signs of making their version of Asian movies.
Their make of IL Mare....now doing their version of Infernal Affair.
I wouldn't be surprise if Hollywood soon do a version of a popular Japanese movie if they haven't done so already :grumble:
