btw, I think I already asked you this Jinzo but how much japanese do you know? Can you generally translate what's going on in a situation (with japanese dialogue)? And it sounds like you can read japanese too???

Yes, I can read and listen some Japanese, but not good enough to know every words in sucl dramas like Rikouran as it's really very fast and complicated. I really appreciate and respect those who can translate the works. :applaud:

@Freefall, thanks for your scan in advance. Thank you! :woot:

I just finished downloading Ri Kouran. It's been even faster than the AP SP extra HQ torrent LOL.
Wow. I just went over some scenes. There's much more Chinese A capella songs than I expected, although they are cut short. Hm aya does sing better than some random chinese singers that come to my island for several chinese festivals :beaten: It's better for my ears :woot: . She pronouces quite well mandarin, but she doesn't speak it very fast. Well, after all as a respectable woman, why would she speak in a hurry like chinese from nowadays :beaten: No need to show off your tongue's acceleration skills :beaten: Anyway, it's really different compared to japanese songs. It's normal for Aya not to feel confident, if she never heard chinese before. I guess the production has been paying much attention to the right pronounciation. Now I realise a bit better how tough it must have been for Aya, it's mountain of chinese for such a short period of time :applaud: . But the tv casting team didn't make a mistake by choosing Aya-san. She did very well. Congratulations :applaud:

Guess I'll definitely wait the subs. I don't understand anything, plus there are many scenes, like a new one every five minutes (that's a lot of chinese dresses too). Oh btw, what's the name of this kind of dress, u know, as japanese dresses are called kimonos, hakamas, etc. Chinese dresses must have a name, do they ?

Yes, actually it is odd that ri was downloading faster than, the probably more famous, AP special :headscratch:

But ILll wait for the subs before watching, too.

hmmm the dress that Aya wore in Ri Kouran is known as Qi Pao, or cheongsam, as most people know it. Its a dress that is popularly wore by women at that period of time in China, if im not wrong =)
Wow after reading your reviews, i really cant wait to watch it! haha i wanna see for myself Aya's linguistic prowess!!

1) This Ri Kouran torrent uses much more trackers than the AP sp one, which used only d-addicts tracker. It's a proof that d-addicts tracker can be spared, if u add a lot of other 100% asian trackers.
2) Ap sp downloading people were spread over 3 versions.
=> Ri Kouran is therefore faster.

100% agree. :woot: Aya really sings so well that out of my expectation. Some chi. fans even report that they let their moms listen to one of aya's songs(–é—ˆ), they even thought that it's sung by Teresa Tang (do you know her? Teresa was a famous Taiwan's singer who not only bewitches all chinese over the world, but alos jap.)

Sincerely hope TV Tokyo will release aya's song in a cd. Really don't know how to describe how wonderful it's. Particularly the mandarin version of the songs, that's even better than jap. version (personal thinking  )

Lol ? Everyone should let his/her mom and dad listen to Aya's performances. At least give it a try :beaten: (some parents are hermetic to Aya-chan :beaten: ) Hm must have been really great for the people who lived back in these times, well I suppose 'cause I haven't heard the true voice of Ri Kouran. –é—ˆ seems to be the most important song, it's the one we get to hear the most in the drama. Sounds so chinese ~~ :puppydog: meeeuuuh if only every mandarin could speak with the exact sound :bonk:
Never heard about teresa tang
Hm yeah now u say it, why not release a cd. but the marketing people must have already thought about it, if they read some bbs.
