Yes I agree with Jinzoaya. There's much to see. When subs will be out u'll focus on the story. But for now, just go through Ri Kouran and see how aya's gorgeous anywhere, anytime. I understand what weevil meant now, when he said it's tough to focus on the story, 'cause the scenery is so rich. About aya's songs, yeah if u never heard mandarin before, here is a must-hear. I bet she prounouces way better than most of mandarin teachers.
Here's a few examples of aya singing I appreciate the most :
*Episode 1
Of course The beginning + 1:08:47 + 1:40:52(japanese) + 1:55:15 (japanese)

I especially like the scene around 1:35:00, how she refuses koga's materialistic gift => 1:35:50 ! She says that "bù yao" (not sure of the second word) in a very chinese manner.

*episode 2
45:55 and don't miss the big scene that follow around 47:00. Aya's face is gorgeous when says arigato at 50:43.
+ 1:14:25 (funny scene)
+ 1:20:00 (japanese)

when I don't precise it's mandarin.

@Sangohan, i went through those parts that u mentioned, and im really in awed of Aya's singing prowess!! Im now about 40 mins into the show, and i really cant stop praising Aya enough. Her rendition of –é—ˆ, was pretty close to Teresa Tang's, and my mom, who is a big fan of Teresa Tang, agreed! During the conversations, I could understand everything she says, and she look so at ease while talking that she really doesnt sound like someone who just learnt Mandarin! :applaud:

Im going to continue the rest of it now, and just finish downloading the second part! today is gonna be Ri Kouran day for me :woot:

I just watched the first 2 minutes of Rikouran. Is aya really singing that chinese?? I feel like her lips dont match.. but i get the same feeling when i see japanese people talk, their lips dont always match either :crazy: I must be losing it.

Yup, i followed your wise ways and subscribed to Kindai. Buddy, the Kino over here only stocks 2 magazines of Kindai, so all the ones i get are lucky catches. Well....when i get a car it'll be easier for me to go to Kino and get the mags for myself and for Freefall.

@Freefall: buddy, i didn't see another March issue on the shelf. I feel so bad man....and the Jan issue isn't all that great either. The cover for the March one is great and there is a nice desk cardboard picture thingy or so too.... :shamefulcry:

yea, I think if we didn't subscribe, we'd be wasting a helluva lot of money. My store doesnt supply Kindais anymore so... it's all up to the subscription.

Sorry to hear that freefall missed out. So i guess if you didnt subscribe you wouldn't have gotten the March issue? The march issue is great for aya fans. Gakky and Erika are short 1 page though

Actually ILm surfing on japanese websites and shops all the time to look for new Aya stuff. Even if I canLt read japanese. But somehow ILll manage to get through :hehe:

Yes, I just love the Aya from 2002/3 still most. Like I learned to know her back then. And most of the best and cutest pics are definately from that times.
But I guess itLs the same for everyone; If you learned to know her with long hair in 2005 you might like that look most ;)

Has Ri Kouran ever got married ? Children ? According to the few what I saw of the drama, apparently she could have. And there were a lot of guys interested too (some are idiots as always :beaten: ) Sad times.
