To me, this scene is quite good (Don't beat me :mrgreen: ). It shows the cutie and naughty sides of Rikouran. Of course, the director can use other ways to express this idea, but to me, even blowing smoke to one's face like this one, it doesn't matter. :mrgreen:

As you may know, the main difference between a real smoker and a non-smoker who pretends to smoke is: note where the exhaled smoke comes from. If the smoke just comes from one's mouth, that means the somke hasn't gone to the lungs and circulated through the respiratory system, i.e. he didn't smoke. On the other hand, if the exhaled smoke comes from one's nose, that means he did smoke. When I'm watching dramas, I often like to see which actors are real smokers, which aren't. :mrgreen: And it's quite difficult to get addicted in smoking if you never try to inhale the smoke into your lungs.

Same as you, I also don't like somking, particularly women, as it's no good to health. If there're smokers here, it's advised to stop it. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I never knew how to check for "real" smokers but i guess you got that down :victory: It's great to hear that she didn't blow it out of her nose lol But i guess if you did blow it out of your nose then it looks like you really do know how to smoke! Do smokers always blow out of their nose? Sorry, i dont know much about smoking haha

Well, I really hope she didnLt and doesnLt start smoking herself anytime!! But I think she is probably used to cigarette smoke as many in the japanese entertainment industry are smokers. So when she has a meeting etc theer is probably a lot smoking

No, I'm not a smoker, but told by my elder brother who was. :hehe:

@Thy-san, I think real and experienced smokers do blow out of their noses, but sometimes you'll find some don't, it's because they're the 'freshmen', or they just enjoy the 'smart' pose of smoking, instead of the feeling given by nicotine. But sure they'll finally become 'experienced' if they don't stop.

@sputnik: the pic of Kawashima is posted in another BBS in the place I live. Just like us, we were dicussing something about Rikouran and Kawashima.

agreed, but lets hope (and i am sure she won't :woot: ) that Aya doesnt have too much of these "fulfillments". i remembered some artistes afew years back who got hung up on alcholism...

Well..All the props normally are fake.. whiskey could be only water with food coloring.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't let Aya drink while shooting a scene, unless they really want some "authentic" druken acting. But anyway, we all imagine Aya as being perfect so, so be it. She's perfect :woot: :woot: :woot:

more like the other way around lol! But she really enjoyed it! Cause there's a lot of chinese culture in there. My mom said Aya's singing is really good but her Chinese speaking is not so good =\ But i can kinda tell that's she struggling to learn good Chinese. But he singing wins! Btw, if anyone has ever seen the longest singing scene in the show, how come i feel like it was lip-synched? Cause her mouth didn't seem to match. But we're 100% sure that she sang all the songs right?

An anti-smoking ad comes to mind about how many people die from second hand smoke. It's terrible. If you're not smoking and someone smokes next to you, you take some of the consequences as well :grumble: But I agree, I dont want her to start smoking or be smoking. My pure Nihongo friend says he hates how japanese culture has turned into a giant smoking area. Especially for men who smoke on so many Jdoramas. It's bound to have an influence on more and more kids.

Yes! this might be another problem as well but it seems that lots of people can do like a glass every few months here and there but sometimes it's not like that. Drinking does kill brain cells (makes you pretty stupid) and your brain cells wont grow back! Plus, bad habit. Drinking is basically pleasure drinks, which dont have much use for the human body except easing pain. I learned this in college. =) Aya is probably low on drinks because of her personality but who knows? People on Rikouran were saying they liked her cause of how pure she was and how beautiful she was. :inlove:

Can someone lighten my mind ? After that "smoking scene" in ep 1, I don't really understand why Ri Kouran ran away from mr Tamura. I don't get her feelings. Plus, once she's in her room, she says something like "If Mr tamura knocked on my door ... when I pondered that I become sad for some reason". Sad ? ok, in the end Mr tamura hasn't come but I don't get it.
Ok I know he's been threatened by the company evoquing some crazy fans who would be angry to see Ri Kouran with a lover (please, u people here, never be like that, promise ? :mrgreen: ) but Ri Kouran apparently didn't care, that's up to her and him according to some other scene in a bar.
Plus, when Ri Kouran goes to visit the new director to express her anger against these threats on him, (01:33:40 love that scene, RI Kouran is no bacca :mrgreen: ) she speaks of Mr Tamura as her lover. But we didn't see really a "love scene". I'd say they have much interest talking to each other, but I wouldn't say they are "lovers". Apparently after that smoking scene he went to war without meeting Ri Kouran again. I'd rather say it's a missed love story, but why is Ri Kouran sort of "afraid" to have such a relationship ?
