About that longest scene in ep 2 : when it's a medium shot (only aya on screen) I tell you her lips match the sounds !!!! But u're right when it's a very large shot, even if her lips are hard to see, I have the impression it's not lips - synchronised ... :grumble:
Hm It is supposed to be Aya's voice, ad it seems very likely to be hers. But if she needed a hundred of tries at each record/shooting before getting the wondeful sounds in order to sing only a part of the original song, well that could be a reason not to release a ri kouran audio cd :/ :puppydog: It would be fantastic though if Aya kept training her voice to sing like this in real life, Anyway even so I'm very happy, and I enjoy the drama.

Apparently, the love interactions are not developed in the movie. The first guy with the curly hair you are referring to was very close to Rikouran so that's probably why she liked him. Then he got kicked off to the war. Next was the minister's son? or someone's son. But newaiz, he was going to marry rikouran and apparantly she liked him back cause he asked her to visit his home and she agreed (they "kissed" twice as well!). But unfortunately, he was sent off to war. Next comes the bodyguard. Apparently, they liked each other because he was everywhere she went and protected her. Of course to our disappointment, we see nearly no development besides Rikouran confiding in him at his house. I dont even see what's so great about him. Newaizs, She sounds like she liked him the most because her parents knew about him and she cried over him a lot. But like every other lover, he got shipped off to war.

Out of all these, the bodyguard is the only who is announced dead. strangely, there are loose strings because we dont know the fate of the other 2. And Rikouran was hot stuff so i dont know why they'd give her up unless they were killed =(

OMGG! that's horrible. The poor babies! Obviously, these mothers are not the least bit considerate because they dont care about the child's own health. There are A LOT of longterm baby/child illnesses caused from drinking/smoking during a pregnancy. That's really sad news.

I totally agree with your views but lets not try to offend a smoker. Especially if they know they have a bad habit but are having trouble getting rid of it (addiction). It was probably wrong for them to start but i dont want to insult anyone =) But it's sometimes suprising who smokes and who doesn't. Most likely aya doesn't smoke.

The chinese is nice for chinese speakers but alas, the japanese is too much lol. My mom told me to burn rikouran for my grandparents cause they might like it. Spreading the aya love lol Unfortunately, I dont think anyone in my family knows who Rikouran is.

I doubt she'll ever will.There's only one way to pick up smoking.Influence.Her family and friends,two classes of the people she is closest to.As long as they don't pick up smoking I doubt she'll ever smoke.And if that on-screen light smoking by her really ticks her off(well some ppl just dislike smoking at their first try) then it's 100% that she will never never smoke.

Just pre-ordered a limited edition of Aya's latest single "Way To Heaven".Very very costly.With all the service charge and stuff I got to pay a sum amounting to 5500 yen.But the money's well spent...

Yea, I agree with you and my mom. However, my mom totally complimented the long singing scene cause she said compared to the earlier songs, her madarin was nearly perfect. She was questioning if it was really her or not (but it does sound like aya). So I came to some conclusion that it was lip-synched but she probably practiced over and over to get it right! :applaud: aya's skill and perserverance is amazing. Her solo singing without backround music shows her real ability with her voice.

Releasing an OST/soundtrack would be great! My mom said she'd want one and was disappointed there wasn't one. I dont believe a cd would be a problem since you dont see aya acting. So all you have to do is record her best singing and put it onto a track. I'm sure it'd sell like hot cakes

and yep, smoking is very common in japanese culture but i guess anti-smoking companies have lost their power in Asia. Most jdoramas where people aren't going to Highschool, people are usually smoking.

:hehe: i admit it's odd. It seemed like a movie moment (maybe it happened in real life). I guess it was at the time she visited Rikouran. Back then, you dont need as much credentials as you need now. But sometimes, the honest, loving person (the random woman she hired) is better than the super smart person who shares no empathy. But again, the problem with the movie is that it doesn't explain how a lot of things happened. I guess it's time constraints trying to fit her whole life into 1 movie.

Btw, what did you think of Aya's Chinese singing? Super good? A lot better than BoA I think. Although BoA isn't too bad.

New?!?Well I am pretty new to this thread in that case...the first post of mine was in this thread!

Regarding that money...I was promised 1K Sin dollar by my mum if I achieved a certain grade for my exmas.And since I did achieved that...I have 1K in my disposal.$600 is used to supplement my Japanese language learning so $400 left to spend.Spent $70 of it on an old album of Aya "Message" so the remainer of $330...well I guess I'll still spend it on her products.
