Yes, in Tsubasa she played a somewhat normal character who couldnLt manage to live his "normal" live. She did a very good job there.

As for the "darker role" I was also thinking about somethink like kinpachi sensei. Or at least her look (loved it a lot :hehe: ) I mean like short again :naughty:, a tomboy attitude, black clothes and she could play maybe a leader of a gang, a small spiv.... something like a small criminal.
The reason for it could be problems at home when she was a child or just because she has to earn money to survive.
I think it has potential for a very good story and dorama. And it would be a completely diffenerent role (in which ILd like to see her) But I guess she wonLt do something like that anytime soon.

hrrmmm She just needa go to a random role that we didn't expect.
Ex. You remember that one Oronomin C commercial where she was in that gang kind of outfit. Something like that would be ok too. Makes for good comedy and she can be a gang leader. Her role doesn't have to be all out cute or so, but just funny. Not like Misaki Youko cute, but that kind of funny.

Another Kinpachi type character sounds good.....strong will, open minded, has a temper :mrgreen:

Either or, the sooner she switches to something different the better. Its been too much cute cute lately. Also, i think her songs needs a change too. Change in style....Something back to like Message, Pureness, Yume No Chikara or so. Way to Heaven was just ok....

Her Kinpachi character was great. Nao ist, besides, Hina still my favourite Aya character :smitten:

But actually the same goes for her styling, music and roles: from rockier music, darker roles (Kinpachi for example) darker outfits (more black, dark clothes and leather), short hair and tomboy look she changed over the years to more feminine clothing (brighter and more colorful), long(er) hair and her roles and music became "softer", more "girlish," as well.
Nothing against all this but actually I think the old styling, roles and music suited Aya very good and she was somewhat different from other idols, singers and actresses...

Absolutly. Hina is so cute, friendly and warm... she is like the perfect girlfriend :inlove:
And Misaki Youko is cool too, of course. But, for a real girlfriend, maybe a bit "complicated" *lol*

But Hina and Nao are definately my favoutite Aya charaters :)
Marimo was quite the "normal girl," but one of the best looking.

Second that. I prefer the older style and seeing her in more serious roles like KKK'03 and Kinpachi sensei 6.

I've yet to see her latest dorama, Hotelier. In the meantime I went through half of The Killer of Paradiso, her engrish is so cute :rofl:.

i like her Re. album best. i like her cute poppy songs but also her rockier ones.
maybe she needs to do a goth rock album...? haha

I heard Street Fighter the Movie is Coming out in 2008 .. The First one Sucks like Hell ... So they Making another one. Would be great if they Actually follow the Story line of Ryu and Ken... Now it's going to be Chun Li :crazy: Rumor has it it will be played by Jessica Biel wtf :shakehead: they really going to kill this Franchise.. It better just a rumor or I will do some Major Ass kicking ... I think Aya will do an Awesome Sakura don't ya think? .. If the Fans have a say on the casting. I would Aya as Sakura & Zhang Ziyi as Chunli.

I think she'd be amazing at such a role. She can do the cute and darker thing IMO, so having her do both is perfect.
