Thx very much! :applaud: :good: :jumpie:
Anyone even got a better one without those heavy jpg-artifacts?
Did you click on the picture to blow the size up? I don't see any artifacts on it.

If one doesn't zoom in, it's not that obvious. But if you DO zoom in, you can see it's rather compressed. Anyway, it's better than the one i had.
That's the widely spread version from one of the photobooks. I can't remember which one. It's likely the one most of us have. I assume I got it from a torrent somewhere long ago. If anyone has HQ scans then let us know.

I can make a scan later when ILm home.

I could upload a 1200dpi scan as tif if you like? :naughty: :nut: :hehe:

Absolutely! :applaud:
That'll only be a few MB's. Maybe 600dpi is enough, if going beyond that you can see the paper texture i think?
Or, ofcourse, i'll need to find the PB's somewhere for sale...

You aren't using this forum in the boss' time, are you? :bonk: (Like i am doing now :naughty:... Oh no, actually i'm on break right now.)
woah! expensive Aya artwork

It was a joke. I think a uncompressed tif scan at 1200dpi would be like a gigabyte large :nut: :hehe:
ILd say a "normal" 600 sized down to 300dpi scan should to it. ILll get on it later when ILm home (in about 9 hours :bleh: )

ILm lucky that I can watch the forum most of the time when ILm at work and later at home too, of course.

ILve got some very interesting stuff to scan coming up. I got a package yesterday with some older Aya stuff that was never posted before, I think
Great! :applaud: :applaud:
Thanks in advance :victory:

What's that? Is it painted by an aya fan??? It's quite nice, but it's really expensive. Will anyone bid it? :headscratch:

I seriously doubt that any Aya fan will buy it for that price :beaten:
I googled a bit. That Ian Francis seems to be a british painter. This is his website:
http://www.thecontextualvillains.org/book/ian.html
I wonder if he is a Aya fan? I mean how else would he have found a Aya pic that inspired him for a painting?

Yeah i figured that... If the photo is 10x15inch: 10x15x1200x1200x3 byte = 648MB (if using 16.7 million colors).
600x600=162MB. 300x300=40MB. (Uncompressed.)
Ok, i'm happy with the 300x300 uncompressed or maybe 600x600 compressed! :nut:
That art-work: i can hardly recognize Aya in it... I'd rather buy all the music, PB's and mags if i would spend $1600.
