yea and i guess part of it is natural talent too... i'm a cbc but can speak cantonese and mandarin.. very few cbc's can speak either language well .. presently planning to take some jap courses at my university =)

166? I doubt that, when looking at some images from Azumi 2 it seems Chiaki is a bit taller than Aya, and she's 164

162 cm should be the correct height (according to IMDB and a couple of japanese fan sites). And she weights 43,6 kg.

Asians are smaller (except that Chinese basketball player, he's HUGE), but... that's an advantage I'd say. You guys don't have to run from pillar to post in order to get something trivial like pants in your size lol. You don't have to watch out when you board a subway train because I tend to bang my head on a regular basis. Doorways, same thing. Cars, I have to fold myself into those since my knees always get in my way. Not to mention that I attract too much attention with this size when beign in Japan... it's annoying...
