heh, if someone gave me a translation of one of her tv appearances, i could sub it, but I don't think i'd be able to translate it on my own, heh. To do the song lyrics, I work from the Japanese lyrics. So if there's a kanji I don't know, I can just look it up. It's much harder to do it by ear. Hopefully if I do a lot of song subs I'll get better someday :mrgreen:

i'm gonna try and do Hello now, I stayed a little later at work today so I don't have as much time, and Hello is shorter than Kizuna.

oh, one thing I noticed. I'm timing my subs to the PVs that I think Phinn ripped from the aya clips dvd? :bow:

anyway, i tried to play it with a file of the vid i downloaded off somewhere else and the timing is out of whack, because the vid is shorter.

So these subs work best with the DVD- ripped versions of the PVs.

Shingen, you need to download and install VobSub.
Then, make a new folder. Put the aya video in it. Put the subtitle file in it.
Rename them, and give them both the same name, for example aya.avi and aya.sub
play the file, it should work!

how can I sync the subs with the vid; and
why are there two subs showing? can I make it show only 1 sub?

i have noooo idea why it's showing two subs? er.... anyone else have this problem?
also, if it's out of sync it's cause you're playing a different version of the video to the one i subbed by. i'm using the DVD rip version of Hello.

edit: for the two subs showing thing, are you seeing four lines or just two? because i subbed it with both romaji and english, so there are 2 lines of subs...

That happened with me. I was using Media player and saw two set of subs. What I did was i went to the taskbar at the bottom of the screen and right click the Green Arrow looking thing and selected "Hide Subtitles" or something like that. It should turn off one set of subs :victory:

Its showing the same type of sub, not sure if its romanji.

@evie:this problem's only with the pureness vid, everything fine with the hello vid

I found out how to hard sub, so would you guys prefer if I uploaded the sub files first, and if that doesn't work, upload a hard sub version of the vid? i'll keep the file sizes small. this would erase the problem of weird sub timings and such. i'd rather have hard subs because sub files annoy me, they're so finicky heheh

It doesn't really matter to me, but do whatever you think is easiest for you and the rest of the Aya fans here :victory:

just finished Ep 10 of Kinpachi Sensei. Aya looks pretty strong to me in it, that one scene in of her in her bedroom, saw some bicep muscle :shocked:
