There are currently My little Chef ans Attack #1 for sale at ebay again. These are "real" DVDs as boxed set like the original, just way cheaper by FM(Flying Horse). Can anyone tell me how the quality (picure and sound) is compared to the 5 times more expensive releases at amazon etc? :confused:

I didn't find it to be that bad......maybe because I liked how it had a lot of action in it compared to the first one, though I think its because of this that it wasn't as good as the first one. Depended too much on the action scenes I think, so there was practically no storyline besides Azumi and gang meets stage boss 1, stage boss 1 dies, some gang member dies, yada yada yada.......Azumi defeats Final Boss, story ends.

$24.99 for a box set makes me wonder is the quality good and all that.
I think the guy probably dled the drama, burned it onto dvd :sweat:

ILve bought Ace from the seller a while ago. ItLs no copies; there are "real" printed DVDs in a DVDbox. It doesnLt look like a cheap bootleg. The quality looks good, not perfect but as itLs just a TV series the quality canLt be compared with a normal movie DVD. The Ace caps I posted a while ago are from that DVDs.
ILm just wondering if the original Japanese DVDs are even better or if these are cheaper chinese or whatever releases. The text all over the DVDs and box is japanese, though...

Maybe someone here has the original "Ace" or "my little chef" DVDs and could post 1 or 2 caps from the first episode for some comparison?
If the picture quality is equal or not much worse I think itLd be worth to get after its much less ...

I remeber on D-addicts, you were able to dl the DVD quality version of My Little Chef....hopefully someone dled them.

No, both are just DVD rips. The old ones were TV rips. So the new ones are much better but not real DVD quality.
But I bet Phinn has the originals. Maybe he could post 1 or 2 caps?
