As always, I'm happy to make subs from a translation anyone has done
I was kinda disappointed :shamefulcry: There are a lot of new songs but none of them are really good some are okay and some are just not that good here are the ones I liked and the ones I found to be a bit plain
good!!
egao no mama de

kaze wo ukete
nukumori
yakusoku no basho
yume no chikara

kono sekai ni umarete
hoshizora highway (best title, one of the worst songs :puppydog: )
I usually love ballads but the ones on her new album are just dull, maybe the songs will grow on me but my first impression wasn't the best
Anyway, i'll continue to support Aya and this comes with DVD so of course I bought it :victory:

Yeah, I wasn't too impressed either. She seems to be continuing to do ballads whilst I prefer her earlier pop/rock stuff. A lot of these veer into R&B terrority with a lot of backing singers and that random rap track. Not much to tell them apart though, they all sound very similar and, yeah, dull :shamefulcry:
The producer is Yuuji Iwata who's responsible for dramas like 'Ichi Ritoru no Namida' and 'Ganbatte Ikimasshoi'.
It sounds a lot like 'Good Luck!!' to me, which can only be a good thing :woot:
Gosh. Does this girl never grant herself a rest? I havenLt even watched all the old dramas and now she comes up with a new one again
Well, I wonLt complain.
I just wonder if Aya had a vacation (without a camera shooting her) in the last years? It looks like she is working non stop...

Yeah, it seems that way. I think she started shooting this as soon as she got back from Turino. Dramas, films, a singing career, commericals, a weekly radio show, interviews, promotions and about twenty magazine shoots a month... where does she find the time?
I really hope that she was able to get some rest during her stay in Torino .
About the new album, well since I heard Egao no mama de, I was prepared for something balladical to come. Still can't decide if it's good or not, but one thing for sure - some of the songs are perfect for good night sleep, Freefall be careful not fall asleep behind the wheel...
HereLs what ILm thinking. I wasnLt totally impressed with the new album, too. But most times you have to hear a new CD several times before you really like it. But Re: and Message will stay my favourite albums, for sure.
I know she likes to try different music genres but she really should stay with her style from Re: or Message. Beautiful ballads, some rock but I donLt like rap and R&B in her music.
Great

I doubt it. I guess even in her free time a cameraman is still behind her to shoot a "AyaLs free time special" for some show ;)

After hearing it twice now I think itLs good/OK. Some great songs, few bad ones and the rest is OK or a bit plain.
Re: and Message were much better, though.
DonLt worry bout me falling asleep. I never get tired of Ayas songs. But if I get a bit sleepy nevertheless I still got some "louder" CDs with me, ass well :hehe:

Hmmmm, you are probably right :puppydog:. Just watched the rest of the Torino reports and I've a feeling that she was there ony for few days around the opening. After that she showed in a different studio probably in Japan and also asked Plushchenko few questions via telebridge. They should have let her stay for a few days to chill out and relax, to visit the sights...

Yes. And then, as sheLs already near, she should have been visiting Germany, as well. Especially around my town :hehe:
But I think if she wanted she could take some time off. I think sheLs Ok with "working" so much.
aya's latest interview, she talks about her new album & drama
Apprently her older brother wrote the lyrics to a song in "License", I'm thinking it's "fermata" since the album was supposed to have 12 tracks and that one was added later on, also all the other lyricists seem to have been pretty active for the exception of "½" (makoto?) which is probably her brother's pen name
I can't wait for the album :woot:
Really? One of aya's brothers does name 'makoto' (he's not a muscian). Aya said a year ago(?) her eldest brother tried to write a lyrics for her and she really wanted to put it into her album. Together with what gloomy said, it may be true. Ooh! That's great, it seems that aya's wish comes true! :woot:
hey, bluemax is located at which tower? unfamiliar with suntec city..
got bluemax at other places too ... like plaza sing #03-05 ... people's park complex #01-19 ... chinatown point #02-47 ... suntec #02-34 ... balestier point #01-20 ...
So now that I've listened to the album over and over again (<3) I have come up with a final verdict!
good
egao no mama de

Now let's hope she sings the theme song for her new drama! :victory:
