I have done reading this book. It's written in Old Japanese and completly different from Yoshikawa Eiji's Novel.
It tells the story of Yoshioka Heima, later become Miyamoto Musashi Masana on his way to learn ( Shugyosha in Japanese) and chase his rival Sasaki Ganryu (Kojiro) down.
On the way he fought over 60 duels and never lose....

Do anyone know about Takimitsu RyuFuken? In this book he's the one who teach Musashi 3 moves to defeat Kojiro : Onami, Isonam, Nami Kaeshi.[/img]

That's what I've always thought it to be... Sounds like a completely different story. :headscratch: :headscratch:

NO!! Absolutely Not!

He is the youngest son of Yoshioka Tarozaemon Munisai. His name is Yoshioka Heima, also called Yoshioka Shichi No Suke. Later he was adopted by Miyamoto....(forget his name),a chief from Kato Kazusa Kiyomasa, a warlord of Higo Kumamoto and became Miyamoto Musashi Masana.

Hi everybody!

I am new here. Checked out this forum for quite a while but since I didn't get to watch that NHK's Musashi, I didn't post anything as didn't know what to comment on.

I have read Eiji Yoshikawa's Musashi like many times and I can tell you that I REALLY LOVE it. I LOVE Musashi and was desperately wanting to watch the series when I heard there had been Musashi's tv series on NHK. Can't watch NHK in Indonesia unless you have a cable :grumble:

Aaaanyway. after having searched for this series for ages, I finally got it!!! Yaaay!!

I am still in the middle of watching it now, and I'm already in love for the second time with Musashi ha ha! Do I sound crazy?
