Nodame Cantabile is such a great manga, it's light-hearted but never shallow, if you paid enough attention you will see a lot of subtle humour and symbolism. I've always wanted to see a live version of Nodame because after all, it's a music manga, and what's better to enjoy it than to have a live version with the real music playing in the background? Oooh, and it has plenty of drama, but the drama never takes the dominant side. It's a balance of comedy, romance and drama. I can just talk on and on and on about it. How I wish more josei manga like Nodame, Honey & Clover will be distributed more widely out of Japan. To have Juri Ueno as Nodame is a plus, simply because she's such an adorable actress. Her energetic personality in Swing Girls made me a fan of hers, I'm pretty sure that Ueno will pull off the role of Nodame well. I can't wait to see this drama :dancing: :dancing: .
Fall season looks like a very good season. Many of the respectable names are returning: Kou Shibasaki, Takako Matsu, Yutaka Takenouchi... Even screenwriter of hit dramas like Orange Days, Long Vacation is also returning with her newest script Just One Love. Honestly, she's one of the best drama scriptwriters. I enjoy all of her dramas so far, and I'm hoping that her new drama will surpass all of her previous ones.
Btw, is it confirmed that there will be a My Sassy Girl drama?
