yaloh, that Vermeer painting is a winner! Woman with a balance: Nanami :mrgreen: She's definitely giving Toru a lot of support & *balance*. Think Vermeer painted a Girl with a Pearl Earring?

Ok, like I said, I actually luv this epi. Despite the rather commonplace development of the plot, I think the cast is superb in this epi. Of course Shin-chan is wonderful lah. He just lies in bed, or travels in that wheelchair, but he beams & is simply magnetic :smitten: Just dunno what the scriptwriter is thinking :rant: why Shin-chan appears in so few scenes ah? :smack:

Tsuyoshi is surprisingly good too, especially in tat scene when he eats sashimi & cries. (The tadaima/okaerinasai combo between Shimao & Mariko is soo good; echoes v. well with that between Toru & Nanami :thumbsup: ). So is Tanihara; see that when Shimao is ousted in that meeting; Kamiya looks genuinely sad :say_cool: . Yamada & Kimura are both great.

Demo, the plot is just so-so lah; a lot of places seem incoherent..
e.g. Toru is still wheelchair-bound & seems weak; he can visit his father's grave by HIMSELF in that wheelchair? The graveyard is just next door? :hehe: And he can leave the hospital without anyone noticing him? :crazy2: Nanami shd hav been woken up if he left in that wheelchair? :bonk:

black tower seems v. indifferent when she hears Toru disappears? She's after all his ex-gf wor? :sweat:

think the story said tat SS was removed coz Sakuraba gotten 75% of the directors voted for the removal of SS frm the board.. & at the beginning, Kamiya warned SS to be careful coz Lloyd has appointed(?) directors which made up of at least 75% of board composition... guess SS is still too trusting eh :mrgreen:

just read frm some website tat in Japan, shareholders' approval is required for removal of directors, then maybe they'd hve to explain to shareholders why SS has to be removed? but guess if Lloyd is the largest shareholder (think its 67%? ) & assuming tat they dun abstain, guess the outcome is alreadi a forgone conclusion eh...
