Still, didn't expect SS to be removed that quickly. What actually happened in that meeting with the politicians? SS must know how his clean image works for Frontier & Lloyd Brothers, & he must also know it well enuff that this is his only weapon if he doesn't want to be Sakuraba's puppet. Does he put too much confidence in his weapon and becomes too complacent, thinking Sakuraba can't remove him easily? Think he mentioned sth about his ningen? :sweat:

I think Takayanagi does keep his spacious apt, even tho he has lost his limo & needs to go to work by bus (with that handle! :rofl: ) He might consider doing the Suzuki Hajime number when he's bored :bonk:

the meeting with the politician is abt some bribery thing & SS doesnt agree with the commission (15% of sales?) tat Frontier had to pay for some successful bid thing for some satellite biz?
coz he said tat they used his clean image & popularity, & without him, the cooperation thingy wont work, given this, Frontier is willing to pay at most 5% of sales instead of 15%. .. ? i think tats wat he said :sweat:

guess to Sakuraba.. SS has repeatedly told him directly or indirectly to "mind ur own biz, i m the boss here" which is probably contrary to his expectation of how the working relationship shd be between SS & Lloyd Bros... the fact tat Lloyd Bros appointed so many directors at the beginning in a way shows their intention .. Lloyd wont be willing to stay in the background & remain as a passive shareholder in Frontier...

Lloyd probably needed to use SS's popularity at the time of the takeover to convince the major shareholders of Frontier to sell their shares to Lloyd... but as for the ongoing everyday running of Frontier after the takeover.. *shrugged* dunno how dependent is Frontier's biz on SS' popularity factor :sweat: .. in the 1st place.. how he'd gain his popularity (ep4 to 6) is not convincing to me alreadi :bonk:

yes, that's my question & yr answer is very clear :thumbsup: . I was just not too sure what Shimao was saying no to. Sakuraba/Lloyd Brothers had wanted Shimao to be a figurehead only; they had wanted to control Frontiers & didn't expect Shimao to be bossing around. That's why they decided to oust him quickly. My conjecture :sweat:

just curious... i know kdramas film while the script is being written so many a times you dunno wats the ending until like a couple of epis before the end. is it the same for jdorama or for that matter, any dramas? cos seems like this is the case with KnC wor... :sweat:

no lah, I think the plot this time is way too predictable. The script writer hasn't got much leeway to change her ending but to show that Toru will survive; so will Shimao. Expect a comeback big time! :fingerscrossed: :rofl:
