Tsutsumi Shinichi

well since this is the ONLY thread talkin about Koi ni Ochitara.........
I really liked the cast, so many hotties.......and of course.......u guys' shin-chan. :mrgreen:
so far i've only watch one episode, still waitin for the chinese sub out....and heres some of my comment, well not really a spolier thou.......

i agree wif u guys about kaori, she needs to brush up her actin skills, and i think she doesnt match well with either shimao or takayanagi.....................why she is the lead........... :shamefulcry: hope i can see more kimura yoshino on next episodes....... :fingerscrossed: those supportin actresses did much more better job than matsushita......nanami, the other secretary, the bartender......woot i like drama wif lots of gals~ :dancing:
dunno how many times i watched the ending credits just to remember all those girls.......XD i think this is the best opening/ending of all of those dramas i've watch this season.

oh i shld talk abit about shinichi.....since this is a thread about him, he is absolutely charming and showed plenty of charisma in this drama.......he really steals the show, guess kusanagi's role not that favourable huh...... :bonk:

guess ill start a thread about this drama at drama section, since we have english subs and to spread the greatness of shinichi-san......

think coz there's really not many equal match in the show, considering most other cast members' acting skills are, errr,... :sweat:

but yes, Wakui is great too; like the way she sees thro ppl's heart & mind; luv her mild mannerisms too :applaud:

on the other note, i checked the ratings, if im not mistaken, currently only 2 dramas that have its ratings increased at 2nd episode, one of them is koi ni ochitara.....woots~ :dancing:
even the ratings of 'engine' dropped at the 2nd episode.....hoohoo

behind Shimao's desire to become rich...

->in ep1, Shimao expressed his frustration one nite after he realised tat he can't even afford to give him mom a decent funeral (i like this scene alot, guess it reflects reality more, which is quite different frm the fairytale like mood in most parts of this drama, think Kusanagi did a good job here too :D)
-> now, his hse would be auctioned in a month's time & he has lots of loans to repay.. as Mariko complaint tat all the money they've earned has gone to the repayment of loan

despite these pressing matters & hard time tat he has gone thru, except the end of ep1 where he's desperately seeking Takayanagi to find ways to get rich... up until now... Shimao gives the impression tat, no.. he's not a desperate money seeker ... & the scriptwriter instead... focuses on how Kaori is attracted to him coz of his good nature ... orz.....

i wan to see Shimao change leh :bonk: :metaldevil:

U know, the can't-afford-funeral scene is so moving; I kinda wept a little (tho very little) :bonk: & the Mariko scene (I think u r referring to the sock-mending scene) is superb; that's why I like Mariko, she's so real. esp. the party scene when she virtually yelled loudly while walking in the exquisitely-decorated washroom... I think the contrast actually works much better here (the poor meets rich scenario & is totally flabbergasted :shocked: ) Mariko is an ordinary OL coming from the working-class backgrd; very much in touch with most viewers; I think Kimura Yoshino does a v. gd job here.

And yes, Shimao's characterisation is kinda inconsistent; at one time he is this cheerful young lad pursuing his dream in a big and upstart IT firm; at other times; he sinks lowest in the loan repayment and home repossession troubles? :bleh: Just dun think Shimao's character is convincing enuff; maybe the script writer wants to show tat he's optimistic, cheerful, positive no matter what, :blahblah: just my two cents again :bonk:

esp when Kusanagi looks at the nails & said if he need to save tat amt of money to pay off his mom's medical bill, with the income earned from the nails, tat would take him 30 years...
