ya lor.. Tsuyoshi is the main character.. can see that after first episode. when the theme song is played, Tsuyoshi walks past everyone.. :shamefulcry:

maybe ˆêŽR•s”\—e“ñŒÕ... in "Good Luck" also..

really hope to see him in a show where he is the main character.. don't like to see him keep getting Å‰À’j”zŠp, he got the potential to be Å‰À’jŽåŠp! :yippee:

now that u mention the lead & supporting roles, I jus dun get it: why was he given the best supporting actor award for Yamato? He is obviously the lead!

*sigh* even fewer lines in epi 5? So, he's really supporting this time...I had hoped for a second lead role, opposite Tsuyoshi... :grumble:

I think he had more lines in GL; in that drama he's not exactly supporting, more like the second lead! :banghead:

nikyy, out liao?

yaloh, 2 ch is unique in that way; that's why it's so famous/notorious, depends on which way u look at it!

i think the lead in yamato is matsushima nanako?

think unlike HKdrama where there's both female & male lead for a drama, most Japanese dramas have only 1 lead
eg. Yamato -> the lead is Nanako
Koi no Chikara -> the lead is Eri
Pure -> the lead is Emi Wakui

in GL, his name is after Kimura, the lead, similarly, in KoiOchi, his name is after Kusanagi, the lead
but his lines in KoiOchi is way less than Koda leh :banghead:
& less important so far...
even tho the promotional tag for the drama has always been the battle btw Takayanagi & Shimao *scratched head*
read from Yahoo tat his parts is no more than 15 mins for the 1st 4 episodes...

nope... not out yet...

well, this I know, jus dun understand what the Japanese think, that's all.

But the thing is, Shin chan has always been *supporting*; yet, his performances in Yamato & Koi NoC definitely carry more weight (even GL) than Koi Ni. Or even Pure. According to my HK standards (sorry), or even Americans', he's quite easily one of the leads... :bonk: :bonk:

Anyway, in Ubume, he's definitely the lead, but *sigh* -ve review?!
Guess FDF is also *supporting*; his name is after Junichi

don't need to say sorry.. according to my jieao standard, he is better than some of the lead actors also.. :dancing:

nope, he's the lead in FDF, together with Okada :D
he's supporting in Always
so far only a few reports came out... so still hard to say how his performance is like (another excuse found :bonk:)
no choice lah... Ubume's novel is very popular in Japan
so guess when it comes to the movie... pple hve high expectations ne
dun beat me hoh, after i've read the book... i think Kyogokudo's character dun need much acting skill leh coz his responsibility in Ubume is like a 3rd party mystery solver, he's not even involved in those mysterious events :bonk:

yaloh... so far the scriptwriter hasn't even touched on the story behind Takayanagi or on this character, so far he's plain bad bad bad .. except maybe tat 5 sec nite scene in ep4

Really? That'll be great! U see, in some sites (Taiwanese), there have been arguments about who's the lead in FDF. My impression is that Shin-chan's character in the novel is actually the focus, so he shd be the lead... :victory: (another excuse :bonk: )

That's what I've been saying (brag... :bonk: ), Takayanagi has been so flat; the characterization is a failure. Actually I think the script writer is very disappointing. He/she doesn't seem to be famous? Yes? No? The two drama credits given on the official site don't seem memorable at all :bonk:

IMHO, Shin-chan in Koi Ni is completely wasted :grumble:

yup, u r rite, Shin chan's character is more important in FDF coz its him tat lead to all the developments later on :D
u read the book?

Think this is the 1st time the scriptwriter write script of this type...
her past works r Yasha, Kindaichi mystery (Goro's one), Minami kun no koibito, Dobutsu no Isya san ...
i secretly hope tat they reuse the scriptwriter from the Boku series leh

*sigh* I think Shin-chan really treats movies & dramas as side jobs or some kinda *between* projects when he has time off the stage

except maybe Sabu's, which in reality help catapult him to fame and introduce him to mainstream entertainment... :puppydog:

oh, btw, One Missed Call 2 (the sequel to Shin-chan Chakushin 1) is now showing in HK! :shakehead: No Shin-chan, no see :shakehead:

No, dun think I've seen a Chinese translation out...yet, but have read bits & pieces here & there on the Net, so I kinda gather the gist...

U mean she wrote Minami kun no koibito? No kidding...
speaking of Boku to, still haven't seen Boku to Kanojo...U like it, I recall, but it's kinda slow? Tsuyoshi's performance there seems much better... :bonk:

U saw the original Boku as well? Tsuyoshi looks really sickly in there. I saw it when it was shown here on cable, I think he deliberately lost some weight to fit in the role?
13 May 2005, 00:09 #1619
i find that he only get to be the lead when it comes to movies....but movies are short;not as long as dramas. IT'S A SIN to be unable to see much of his scenes! :grumble:

hehe, maybe he has gotten sick of arty farty stuff liao ah... probably did too many of those in TPT  :bonk:

noticed tat the drama projects tat he took up r normally the more "commercialised" ones since they r mainly from Fuji on popular timeslots like Getsukyu & Moku ones (even if its a TBS one, its the prime timeslot on Sunday), which normally feature the more mainstream type of dramas.....

Getsukyu -> Pure, Yamato, Lunch, Beginner
Moku -> KoiChikara, KoiOchi
TBS Sunday slot -> The Doctor, GL

with his popularity, think he shd be able to get himself a lead role if its a NTV or Asahi TV drama ... but so far dun hve leh...

cant help thinking tat maybe he accepts drama projects to earn more pocket money....... heard stage play's pay is not very high

*nod head*... KoiOchi not only wasted Shin chan, they also wasted Emi Wakui (Nanami just gotten a minus point frm me after her speech in the last scene in ep4 :bonk:), Kimura Yoshino... instead they overused Matsushita *sigh*
