No, dun think I've seen a Chinese translation out...yet, but have read bits & pieces here & there on the Net, so I kinda gather the gist...

U mean she wrote Minami kun no koibito? No kidding...
speaking of Boku to, still haven't seen Boku to Kanojo...U like it, I recall, but it's kinda slow? Tsuyoshi's performance there seems much better... :bonk:

U saw the original Boku as well? Tsuyoshi looks really sickly in there. I saw it when it was shown here on cable, I think he deliberately lost some weight to fit in the role?

nope... dun like weepy stories... so didnt watch the 1st boku series... as a matter a fact... i didnt watch Sekai Chushin either.... really dun like to see pple get sick & die at the end :puppydog:

soreeeeee... my mistake..... nope... she's not the scriptwriter for Minami kun, she's the director :bonk:
hehe... i like slow dramas mah... i can watch dramas like yume no california or Kanojo ga shinjyatta... so my tolerance level for slowness is actually quite high :bonk:

I hope the author's review is inaccurate~ I knew Shin-chan can't be bad :usuck:  von... I think the programming code thing is FUNNY! :hehe:

Hope KoiOchi 5 can do some magic... hopefully :fingerscrossed:

Off Topic (i jus need to rant!)
i had a bad nite today cos my favourite in AI4 Anthony got ousted today~ NO MOOD~ :say_ouch: :shakehead: :puppydog: :shamefulcry: :pout: hopefully can regain by tmr to join u all in the posting! :shakehead:

well, this I know, jus dun understand what the Japanese think, that's all.

But the thing is, Shin chan has always been *supporting*; yet, his performances in Yamato & Koi NoC definitely carry more weight (even GL) than Koi Ni. Or even Pure. According to my HK standards (sorry), or even Americans', he's quite easily one of the leads... :bonk: :bonk:

there r dramas where there's 2 lead, the ones tat i can rem r Beginner where both Mimura & Joe r the leads... & Hikari where Shinohara & Kobayashi Satomi r the leads

also dun understand why most of the time, there's only 1 lead...... izit true tat only the lead actor is accountable for ratings ah? to the tv station, its probably ratings tat count ne, & much less weighting on acting skill ... :puppydog:

but KoiOchi is very unusual ... of the dramas tat i've watched, I've never seen someone who's name rank 2nd has so little lines, normally its more balanced :banghead:

KOiOchi Ep1-4 ..... in 1 episode, we'll see Tsuyoshi's face like 95% of the time, as for Matsushita, coz she'll normally appear when Tsuyoshi or Takayanagi is there... so 75%.... as for Shin chan, maybe only 20% :pout:

the amount of lines Shin chan has is probably slightly better than flashman Kenichiro :banghead:

Ohayo, nikyy sama! Do U ever sleep? :hehe:
Yes, the lead is held responsible for the ratings, which is everything in TV industry. If one drama fails, the lead is accountable; performances dun count. So on second thots, maybe it's not a bad thing that Shin-chan is *supporting* in KoiOchi. U see, the problem lies w/ the script itself, it's so awful that not even Shin-chan can save it liao. :bonk:

But u r rite about the balance, Koda has more lines & actually appears in a lot of the scenes in GL. Koda's characterization is more profound too... But Takayanagi jus dun get there; he's not even close...fails completely. Jus dun see how the script writer can deliver a better turn in the following epis... :grumble:

...noticed tat the drama projects tat he took up r normally the more "commercialised" ones since they r mainly from Fuji on popular timeslots like Getsukyu & Moku ones (even if its a TBS one, its the prime timeslot on Sunday), which normally feature the more mainstream type of dramas.....

with his popularity, think he shd be able to get himself a lead role if its a NTV or Asahi TV drama ... but so far dun hve leh...

cant help thinking tat maybe he accepts drama projects to earn more pocket money....... heard stage play's pay is not very high

*nod head*... KoiOchi not only wasted Shin chan, they also wasted Emi Wakui (Nanami just gotten a minus point frm me after her speech in the last scene in ep4 :bonk:), Kimura Yoshino... instead they overused Matsushita *sigh*

yeah, he must be v. happy to have earned this much by appearing less than 5 mins in each epi  But then again, he is always the lead on stage...*sigh* we don't get to see most of them & even if they do release DVD, I can't understand more than 2% :banghead: :shamefulcry:

Why do u dislike Nanami's last scene arrr? Jus curious, coz I kinda like that

Actually, I'd rather see him on Fuji or TBS. At least they are still considered more *powerful* TV networks...Asahi & NTV seem kinda second rate(altho last season Asahi did have that silly dorama that won most ratings). But then again, I like NTV's Ruri No Shima this season :bonk: :bonk: (ok, I'm contradicting myself)

perhaps he'll get a leading role on Fuji's Thurs 10 pm timeslot? KoiNC was that :beaten:

while we're on the subject of *supporting* roles & *flashman* appearances, & in relation to nikyy's earlier post about the Tsutaya poll,

Shin-chan's *flashman appearances* dun hav to be as awful as Takayanagi. He's rated No. 7 in that poll for his performance in Lorelei! :victory:

Hope KoiOchi ppl will work harder on Takayanagi :grumble:

Nanami? disappointed at her viewpoint lah given wat Shimao did in ep4 :bonk: , nothing to do with Wakui the actress, its again... the problem of the script :banghead:
Morino is still my favourite
