does anyone know what happened to Makoto Isshiki? have been reading Piano no Mori(Perfect World of Kai) and was left hanging at vol 9...will like to know what happens to Kai
started reading manga since dragon ball and couldn't stop since then...slam dunk and kindaichi played huge roles too!
After I finished reading all the Azumanga Daioh series. I am continuing to read GTO which is really great and funny. Also still reading Love Hina which is really funny and good too.
I finished readin last few vols of scanned Gunsmith Cats, it was quite a pain in the arse havin read the content from the display :beaten: Well, I didn't have the money to pay for the books, too pricey and the manga graphic novels are so popular in the library, always taken :grumble:
Dropped Ghost in the Shell 2: Man Machine Interface out, too zzz! The story is always super complicated. Women are so nicely drawn, as expected from Shirow. This dude got a fetish for women's crotches, every second page we see is the crotch, too much is too much :beatyou:
I think I'll start readin Video Girl Ai next, scanned of cource :hehe:
a 600 mb burden to my computer, gotta finish and delete the goods. Video Girl Ai = Ringu :woot:
i love manga and manhwa! i'm planning on making my own but i suck like hell. oh well. i know alot of titles too, i practically have too much if you ask me
I used to read Manga a long time ago. I have the whole collection of the Dragon Ball manga series. (That was my favorite, back in the days).
I also used to read Ranma, Yuyuhakusho, and Slam Dunk.
I guess I lost interest in them because I haven't picked up one in 5 years.
But I see a lot of Japanese (from Japan. Not 2nd generation Japanese) college students (who come to study) in Hawaii reading them. So perhaps I'm missing out on something here?!
Anyone care to enlighten me? Or perhaps give me some suggestions on popular/good ones?
i am a otaku of anime and manga right know i am reading angel heart the newset title of tsukasa hojo the one who created cityhunter its realy cool :woot:
I love CLAMP but dont have many of their stuff in my collection  only got by them:
Wish, Chobits, Clover, XxX holic,Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles <-Love this cos it got Sakura from CCS in it!
Negima and Love Hina are funny both by Ken Akamatsu.

Read Hikaru no Go. When I think of ahouchaude, I think of GTO. Go read the manga, much better than the anime and TV series...
Though if you liked Dragon Ball, you might like Naruto...pretty much in the same vein...

Ranma 1/2 is still pretty popular. At least with the people I know. They're re-releasing the manga again. You can't go wrong with Ranma's craziness.
Shampoo's my favorite character because out of all the Chinese characters (the others being Cologne and Mousse), she's the only one who speaks in broken Japanese.
As for others, I think you'd like GTO. Great storyline coupled with unforgettable sukebeness on Onizuka's part. :beaten:
