i have no clue i'm just here to make jokes and see what pans out.....i'm just curious to be honest. if it's true i'm sure that would make lots of girls happy....i don't have anything against the guy or whatever.....i guess what drew me in is the controversy surrounding his future...because the rumors have been flying around non stop since his departure from his group CHOW-FUN...sorry i mean KAT-TUN :hehe:

welps, i only mentioned katakana because if you read the name of the school somewhere i would assume it was written in katakana because it's a foreign word and not a word native to japanese vocabulary :)

moreover, as both krim and i suggested, there are many japanese exchange students that attend SMC (Santa Monica College)....i can speak to this based on personal experience....in fact while I was going to Cal....one the Japnase tutors available to students taking intermediate Japanese was this Japanese girl who had originally gone to SMC

no worries...if the school was written in hiragana i would be surprised that's all. ^_^

my favorite Japanese actress, Rie Miyazawa, had a troubling bout with an eating disorder, anorexia, and it wasn't tell long after the fact that i found out she had lived in Los Angeles for four years....in an effort to recover from her medical problems....at the time i was hyper busy with school and not living in l.a. so i had no clue...but it struck me cuz she was actually living in my hometown.

yeah, u know, MAYBE my sources arent accurate and the school isnt stated in this article. cuz i went thru all the katakana, and all i gathered was that umm hes in the group kattun, apparently he's in LA, and he said "no comment" when he was asked how long/where he was going. haha. oh yea and that he had mentioend possibly going to spain..... ah wells, i knew all that info already O_O hahahahaaha!!!

i think that if jin is REALLY planning on studying, he'll be here for more than 6 months. but if he just wants to get away and party and like flunks out (NOT saying anything about his mental capability!! or that he WILL... lots of ppl flunk out cuz they party too much or cant stay motivated etc etc, geez i was almost one of them ...), then who knows, maybe he'll realize that this kind of lifestyle doesnt suit him after all. i wonder... that's not unexpected...rumors tend to be from sources that can't be held to be the most credible.

if he truly, truly left the lucrative japanese entertainment scene to study that's commendable, but no disrespect, i wouldn't hold my breath....but nonetheless i wouldn't hold it against him...he most of LEFT his HOMELAND for a dayem good reason...

She did recover but she never fully regained her figure prior to her emotional and phsyical problems...but in ABSOLUTELY RARE FORM she did reprise her acting career abd has gone on to be one of Japan's most talented actresses of all times...

before returning to on-topic jazz....lemme say watch her in Twilight Samurai (Tasogare Seibei) she's absolutely exceptional in her performance :P

frankly i dont think hes good looking at all and i was surprised that he is very popular here in the forums when i first starting reading here. i just think his singing voice is very beautiful; the boy has talent. so his voice makes up for his poor appearance. haha.

but seeing as this is the Kat-tun forum, Kame's new drama is interesting.
I hope he gets better reviews for this one. Personally I like it better then Sapuri so far. I think they need to take a breal from the Older lady Younger boy genre for awhile. It's been over done.

THnK has a really good plot! it's far better than sapuri. and the girl is so cute. seeing her in the utawara ep.. haha. kawaii ne~ i cant wait for more of THnK to be out!! the song is great too. =))
