Saw several complaints on surpasshosting about server uptime. Know of anyone hosting a big bandwidth site with them? Want to find out more.. (the sales staff haven't replied to me yet)

Me too. Although it would not be much and I should have donated before, I'd definitely be willing. Please keep us posted Genma...

For donations, its usually the problem of upkeeping these donations. Hosting costs come monthly and not one-time, so I'm still hunting for a good host, in terms of price, reliability and speed.

I wonder if Ruroshin might have a suggestion. I know he was having issues with finding an affordable host for D-addicts at least once, a while back. I'm not sure if D-addicts uses as much bandwidth as jdorama.com and it is a little different (forum and tracker)...

Yeah, probably not...it's finding a place to move to. But I figure we all just mean if the time comes and a donation is needed for the move :sweat: There's probably not really much point in donating right now if we don't even know what the status will be. Genma wouldn't take money unnecessarily ;)

But issue here is, if I take up a heavy hosting package, donations usually won't last me.

I've found a dedicated server solution at S$99 per month. Do you guys think its feasible for one? Donations for sure aren't enough though. =(

Don't intend to charge for membership. Lots out there can't afford or have no means for online payment.

Anyway, I've got the webhost to agree to an extension of a few days for me to do the migration.. if there is any.. mmm..
