Possibly, though I'm used to seeing paninis with the grill marks on it. The contestants look innocent enough, unless some chef decides to throw some <insert random food item> guts into it.

Had to go... Hadn't seen Mitsuwa girl in a couple of weeks. ;)

Hmm, it's a bagel sandwich vs. hot sandwich (possibly a grilled sandwich).

I did notice the bagel... Looks like some kinda cutlet in there... :headscratch:

Don't know what the other thing is... Looks like a stuffed pancake.

That smoked salmon and cream cheese on a bagel looks mighty good.

The hot grilled sandwich defeats the bagel sandwich, 5-2. :puppydog:

But SMAP guy goes hungry.

I don't mind corned beef from a deli, but corned beef hash looks like re-labeled canned dog food. :bleh:

Yup. He was not a happy camper. :hehe:

I picked up an ad today from Mitsuwa. Once I figure out where I put it, I'll post the contenders.

It's a Danish vs. Honey Toast battle. The katakana will come later.

Edit:

Just from names alone, I'd pick the Danish.

Are you referring to the ICA? Yeah, it's not the original, but then what else can be?

I think they coulda just broadcast the originals with subtitles.

Of course, a lot of Americans are adverse to reading subtitles for some odd reason... Literacy? ;)

They did that...on KTSF. I still have some of those original episodes on VHS. With none of that dubbed crap. :shakehead:
