I check every few months to see if the L.A. broadcast matches with the YTV website. Finally got a hit for yesterday (11/04/2006) show:

We have a SJ-only ad for next week, so I don't know the menu items.

There's a restaurant only a couple of miles from where I live that serves great ramen. The owner has his own factory which produces the ramen he serves. The restaurant serves three types: miso-base ramen, Tokyo style (shoyu-base with slices of pork) and chanpon or Nagasaki style (lots of veggies with chicken). Ono (oops, that's Hawaiian). . . I mean oishii.

They both look real good, I'd probably have to go with the char siu. :drooling:

Wonton wins 7-2 (had to be the shrimp) :beaten:

Went to Mitsuwa yesterday and they ran out of flyers. :puppydog:

Now I don't know what's cooking this coming weekend. :puppydog:

Anime Dad (and others), the SoCal broadcast of Dotch is being posted on D-addicts. At least the most recent episode has. It's listed as Cooking Showdown.

D/L away. :D

Hopefully I'll be able to fill in some of the older episodes courtesy of BMW. :fingerscrossed:

YAY! Thanks, dochira-san. Finally someone has uploaded it!

Hmm, 700MB file. Must be a high quality encode :)

If I recall, the poster records the shows using an MPEG2 (like DVDs) tuner card.

Note: The file is still called Cooking Showdown, but the torrent title is Dotch Cooking.
