Yes I've been a bit shocked by the sudden surge in emails and hits since Good Luck aired in Singapore!!!! Interesting how it took so long to air though. Is it airing with English subtitles?

Yup, English-subbed if i'm not wrong.
It is dubbed Chinese voices, with dual-sound as the original Japanese voices.
So, everyone in multi-racial SG can understand. :applaud:
Due to the K-Wave, Korean dramas dominate foreign-drama timeslots for recent years in SG.
Now, things have changed with the new channel makeover,
Pride coming soon as the trailers show. Jdramas taking over !! :victory:
Here's some behind-the-scene news about Engine. I've posted this a few days ago on topic <Kimura Takuya> but guessed this forum should b more appropriate, & for Engine fans tat missed this.
(8/4/2005)
On What's Up this night Takuya talked about the two Johnny's Junior boys appearing in Engine. They are Arioka and Nakajima but Takuya confessed that he had not known their names till now (this was recorded on 6th April), as he thought of them by their role names: Toru and Shuhei.
The two boys had come up to him very formally the first day they met, and Takuya had immediately asked them to forget their being senior and juniors of the same management office. They were to call him "Jiro" like all the members of the cast (without even the honorific suffix "-san"), and were not to stand on formality.
What with so many children and toys on the set, they tend to play games and such during shoots, but apparently Takuya put his foot down one day, saying "If you play with things, you put them away." The children had been heard to mutter "Jiro's fierce," as they tidied away the toys.
I really like the drama so much!!! It was quite different from other Takuya's drama... he is just like a big Daddy!!! so cute... I am glad to hear that the ratings going up but it still not up to takuya's past rating!!!

yah! i think so too! but i downloaded the raw version without the subs (duno how to combine the subs)... so basically i can only guess the story.. but what the heck.. the kids are cute and so's takuya!

I found this drama to be pretty dissapointing so far. I had high hopes for this KimuTaku drama, but the whole story progress WAY to slowly, and racing part wasn't as exciting as, say, Driven :shakehead:
Hopefully it'll get better in the next few episodes.
