I am doing summaries now based on the Chinese subtitles but it's slow-going. as my Chinese is quite poor I'm 3/4 through episode 1 only sorry :) Also ep 3 with Chinese subtitles hasn't been released yet.

hi.. does anyone know how's the ratings for tis show in japan? it seems like takuya's ratings aren't as gd for pride as compared to his previous dramas...

"Engine" is the highest in ratings so far among the dramas aired this season. Though this may not be considered to be the higher rated(in terms of ratings) in Kimura's dramas, I kinda enjoy watching "Engine" more than "Pride" due to the fact that Kimura has a lot of interaction with the 12 kids in the home and it's also his first home drama. ^_^

Love it when takuya kimura interact with kids in his doramas. :mrgreen: Restraining myself from reading the spoilers coz I'm still worried about his chemistry with the leading lady. Haven't watch it yet. Still waiting it to be sub. :sweat:

........during the first episode, kimura went to australia circuit to meet some guy, and the clothes hes wearing just as SAME as the one hes wearing when he was in malaysia, PINK shirt and TIGHT brown pants.....so i assume the scenes which included kimura was actually shot in malaysia, the rest might be australia, without kimura, u will notice it if u watch carefully......u can see Petronas sign all the way when kimura was walking towards Toyota booth...... :rolleyes:

Yes, you are right, its the only one in the 20% plus range, the rest are below 20%. Even the one with fellow SMAP member Kusanagi Tsuyoshi....
I wonder whether seasons have an impact on the ratings. ie. Spring season shows have generally lower ratings than winter season doramas...

ahhh... ratings dropped below 20 for the 3rd ep...

It's still one of the dramas that got a higher rating though...

how come spring ratings are worser than winter ones? any particular reason for that? oh my.. the ratings are dropping below 20%.. not very good for kimura takuya's standard... wat do u guys think abt the show? do u think kimura takuya still has his magic touch n tat the show will jump above 30% for any of the episodes? or has he lost it?

I guess it's because spring is a good time for them to get out of their house and winter is a season where most people will stay at home and watch TV due to the cold weather.

do any of u people know when will kimutaku new show engine will be air in singapore :banghead:
