yeah, just watched the cm of ryoko again, short, but good. how many of those cm's do you have of her?

yeah, planning on hitting the bookstore, kinokuniya, probably again this week. as for the other one in torrance, the one you mentioned in the mitsuwa mkt, i may check it out, it is a 50 min drive for me, if there is no traffic. what street did you say it was off of? don't think i have been there before. how big is it?
i remember the other bkstore in costa mesa mitsuwa, the bkstore was called sanseido, so it was different, they don't have too much stuff, usually just go to kinokuniya.

It's on Western Ave., a couple of miles south of the exit off the 405.

21515 Western Ave.,
Torrance, CA 90501
(310)-782-0335
9:00AM - 8:00PM

Yuck, 50 miles is a long trek one way. I'd just go to the Kinokiniya and save on gas......

i know that this is the artiste thread section, but do you know good places that you usually go to eat in torrance,
you must have all the japanese local connections, on what places to go to, eat at, etc...
btw: have you visited japan before?

I know some, but not all... There's a pretty good ramen place inside of the Mitsuwa Marketplace, named Tampopo... And I always visit my fave sushi place, Hakone Sushi... Been going there since '89... :D

tampopo eh? sounds really familar, ate at one in the mitsuwa mkt, moved to the marukai mkt in OC, don't know why though.

haven't gone to japan, you totally gotta make a trip there, so worth the $$$, just that the flight is lengthy, about 11 hrs going, and 9 1/2 hrs coming back, the jet lag on the way back, it took me a few days to adjust after i got back home, but i would like to make another trip again.

your guess is at good as mine, probably off her first photobook, while she was about 18.
think that's how they begin, the j-idol time-line, start w/bikini's then some move onto, acting/singing/cm-modeling, and become bigger.
I think that is what Miho Yoshioka is doing, from being a bikini model/race queen, to acting in dramas, etc...
