Hello sa lahat!! palagi akong lurker sa thread na ito pero ngyn lng ako ng post..na curious kasi ako sa topic ng pag upload ng Filpino dramas sa D-addicts. mga April of last year, may nagupload ng isang episode ng Mulawin(or Darna ata) and syempre..maraming natuwa. marami rin kasing ibang Pinoy na ngrerequest. Then may isang pakialemero, regular poster and uploader sa d-addicts, si Gronk, na kumontra, kesyo daw D-addicts are exclusively for East Asian dramas and useless daw mag upload ng Filipino dramas kasi masyadong mahaba.
so ang nangyari, na discourage ung nagupload, then di na nya tinuloy.
ang nakakinis kasi, ang ironic pa, ung pakielamero ay Filipino din(that Groink). nakakainis na Pinoy pa ung humarang sa d-addicts.
pero anyway, nag PM kami kay Ruroshin(d-addicts site owner) and pumayag sya na mag upload ng Pinoy dramas.
in the process kami ng friend ko ngyn na mamili ng magandang episode ng Maalaala mo Kaya, hopefully by Oct ma upload na namin. Plan din kasi namin isub sya para ma appreciate naman ng iba. Imho, Filipino dramas are good naman and very enjoyable to watch.

Yey! kudos! sana'y matuloy yang binabalak nio...i've noticed din recently na parang de kalidad mga pinapalabas sa MMK...i think that'll be a good start since ang hahaba nga ng most Filipino series. Pwede cguro next yung mga parang Love to Love ng GMA na parang per season...like cguro 10 eps lang yung mga yun or sumthing. I dunno, i'm curios din to know kasi kung meh mga non-Pinoys na magkakainteres ^^ pero fo sho, yung mga pinoy's in other countries magDDL nina ^^Good luck and let us know what'll happen sa project nio. I'll be on the look out sa D-Addicts :)

andun ako nugn opening ng korean film fest. wala lang.

About dun sa pagtigil ng pag-upload ng Pinoy shows sa d-addicts, I think Groink is assuming that almost every Pinoy out there have TFC, and if Pinoys are the only ones who are gonna be interested on these shows then he sees no point of uploading (since mapapanood naman sa TFC) and doing any subs for it (since malamang naiintindihan naman siguro ng mga Pinoys ang wikang Tagalog). :sweat: Anyway, good luck sa project niyo. :victory:
un nga ung nakakainis, kasi the point of uploading is to introduce the Philippine drama to the world. its a given na, maraming namang subscribers ang TFC and PinoyTV, but ang target audience naman ay kasi non-Filipinos.
what's wrong with that guy's statement was he reiterated that D-addicts caters solely for EAST ASIAN DRAMAS, hence the japanese, korean etc.
sinabi nya un even though he's not even one of the mods!! buti na lng mabait ung site owner mismo(Ruroshin), and he is happy pa nga raw to have Filipino dramas in d-addicts.
actually we chose Maalala kasi its available in vcd/dvd format, ang hirap kasi mag rip kasi ang lumalabas palaging low video quality.

yup..we will post a dvd rip of MMK para sure na maganda ang quality and mas marami ang magdownload. the problem kasi with tv rips, hindi masyado maganda ang quality, pero nagsuggest ang friend ko na iupgrade na lng ung cable to Sky platinum, may digital box na kasama and mas maganda ang picture quality.
i hope na maging positive ang response sa Pinoy dramas like MMK, as of story, ok naman sya, magaling pa ung actors natin, un nga lng halata na low budget, as compared to NTV's Drama Complex or KBS2's Drama City

Hmm.....it doesn't look like d-addicts is exclusive for East Asian dramas because I am seeing some Singaporean dramas being uploaded there, so I guess Pinoy dramas (or should it be telenovelas? :sweat: ) have a place in that website.

mas maganda kapag critically acclaimed episodes like ung Asian TV award winning performance ni Roderick, Eula or Kaye Abad..kaya lng masyadong heavy drama. maganda rin sana ung recently nominated episode sa Seoul TV awards, ung kina John Pratts, pero wala pa kaming nakikitang copy sa dvd.
