LOL! bothered din ako sa size ng mukha nia! i just read lang sumwer sapinoyexchange na cia daw ang JJH of the Phils...i haven't seen an ep of Crazy for U kc di ko rin trip si Lucky..pero I'm assuming na malamang 1st 2 weeks lang yung nasa Spain sila, the rest of the series malamang sa Pinas na yung shoot.

One issue is the completeness factor. Once a series is started, it should be finished....even if there are hundreds of episodes. That is one difficulty with Philippine dramas. They are modeled after the novelas, rather than the shorter Korean or Japanese dramas.

true.. plus editing out the commercial would be some extra work.
unlike japanese/korean dramas.. the commercials are before and after the drama.
but you guys are doing MMK for now.. so no troubles like that
Maalala is basically a Drama SP,like the NTV Drama Complex(Hotaru no Haka, Yubi, Sengoku Jietai etc), it has a completely different plot, actors. etc per episode and that's the reason why we have chosen it for our first project.
we think its a good program to introduce the Pinoy drama to the world, it has received a number of awards and citations from award giving bodies around the world.
I wanted to work for pinoy dramas for a long time now. One of the reasons prolly is when i chatted with Malaysian fangirls of Jericho Rosales months ago and some girls even commented that Pinoy dramas Rockx! if you ever heard of Jericho Rosales band, Jeans, they first released their album in Malaysia before releasing their album here - because there is an established fanbase of Jericho in Malaysia.
anyway, if any of you have a decent connection on the net, have a reliable TV card, good reception on local TV stations (having cable, of course, is a plus) and (doesn't really need to be good at it, basta marunong ng basics ng encoding) video editing - upload ka ng pinoy dramas. This was one of my dreams since the effect of Encantadia - this is a new Pinoy Pop culture that emerged. My cosplay friends was very into it that sometimes they asked each other what happened in episodes they missed.
Another thing, tama ba ako? pinapalabas lang sa TFC ay mga dramas galing sa channel 2? well, i don't really care about 2 and 7's battle for best station - but i like the way local dramas become so high quality these days that my parents, titos and titas will rush into their homes after work just to watch the dramas.

i have subs for taiyou no uta the movie. i also did a karaoke subbed goodbye days. if you want, i can give you what i did. di ko lang naayos kasi medyo busy. the goodbye days i did has the romaji and the translation in it.

i recommend mga indie movies...na-influence na rin cguro ako ng sister ko kasi film major siya sa diliman.may show sa abc5 entitled shorts shown every thursday wherein nagpapalabas sila ng short indie series made by indie directors..

I think ok i-upload ang MMK to show the scriptwriting and acting talets of Pinoi TV peeps...but to really rope 'em in, we need something with a nice, easy to dogest plot that stars REALLY goodlooking people. I mean, super maghihit ba ang Meteor Garden or Endless Love dito if they starred uhm,not so good lookings actors? And I think meron naman mga ganong local series...the problem lang tlg is they take forever to finish...>_<
